"Gotcha." Violet laughs after she lands a hit on Robby as they spar. "You have to keep moving in a circle, remember?"
"You know, I did make it to the All Valley finals." he smiles cockily.
"Only cause you didn't have to get through me." she smirks.
Robby laughs, then they share a quick kiss.
"God, you two are so cute." Sam rolls her eyes. "Gotta love being a third wheel."
"I'll get you a coffee mug that says 'world's best third wheel' for your birthday if that will make you feel better." Violet teases.
"Gee thanks, how sweet of you." Sam laughs sarcastically.
"I wanna thank both of you." Robby speaks up.
"For what?" Sam asks.
"Last week I had no hot water. Now this week I have a jacuzzi in my backyard." he explains.
"I wouldn't get too excited about the jacuzzi. We did find a dead possum in there." Sam says.
"That was such a sad day, I cried about it for a week." Violet frowns. "I held a funeral service and made Daniel bury it in the backyard instead of just throwing it in the dumpster."
They all laugh.
"I'm serious. I wanna thank you both." Robby smiles shyly. "Things have been rough lately. It's nice having people looking out for you."
Sam smiles softly and shrugs. "It's what friends do."
"And girlfriend." Violet smiles, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
"Not all friends or girlfriends." Robby shakes his head.
"Alright guys, enough chit-chat. Let's see where you're at." Daniel says, walking out of the dojo.
But he's interrupted by two teenage guys coming into the dojo. After talking to them for a little bit, Violet, Robby, and Sam go over to see what it's about.
"You guys ready to get started?" Daniel asks the guys.
"Yeah." they nod.
"Great." he smiles. "I have a couple cans of paint out front. The fence back here could use a fresh coat. Robby will show you."
