(6 years later)

"That is two to me I believe!" I giggle as Sif picked herself of the dusty Asgardian training floor.

She and I had become best friends since meeting six years ago, I was weary of her at first, but once I got to know her I discovered that we were very similar.

We both loved adventure and fighting, much to my mother's dismay.

"Wow princess, you really do pack a punch!" She giggled back, whilst readying her fists to go again.

I positioned myself, carefully placing my feet in the correct way to get the upper hand. I was ready to pounce, until I felt to arms snake around my waist and pull me off my feet.

"Arrhhh!" I screamed in shock and viciously fought my capture, I heard giggles from Sif and Thor, who I presumed would be standing next to each other.

Sif clearly had a 'not so secret' type of a crush on my brother, but unfortunately he was so wrapped up in his own life that he failed to notice what was right in front of him.

That could only mean that Loki was my capture.

"You my dear sister need to learn how to defend your back more, look how easy it was for me to snatch you away!" Loki laughed, releasing me from his grip and standing us both up.

I stared at him and suddenly a devilish idea came to mind. "Well! How about we put your skills to the test dear brother, I say we pick teams and duel to the death!" I yelled, laughing as I did so and moving closer towards Sif.

I witnessed a smile crawl across a 14 year old Thor's face as he walked closers to me. "Marvellous idea sister! I say you and me against Loki and Sif!" And with that he picked he retreated to our corner ready to fight. We were not allowed to fight with weapons yet, but father allowed us to do hand to hand combat. Mother was reluctant to let me and Sif take part but I convinced her that it would ensure my safety and would be a handy skill to learn. Although I am not as talented at lying as my brother and I am not as confident as Thor, I tried my best and succeeded.
I was slightly worried about being on Thor's team, I really wanted to team up with Sif because for one, I wanted girls against boys and two, because Thor, a great warrior indeed, but selfish when fighting. He would often forget that their was others around him which where fighting too. Meanwhile, Loki and Sif gave each other a quick nod and moved into position. "Thor, what's are play?" I asked timidly, praying they wouldn't hear. He looked down at me and gave me a squeeze, " fear not dear sister, for I the mighty Thor shall take down both with a single swipe!" He roared boldly, it wasn't exactly the answer I was looking for, but in Thor's terms it meant he was going to win no matter what. Loki and Sif had been whispering to each other, clearly preparing a battle strategy. They would took and then Loki would shoot quick, menacing glances in my direction before turning to Sid once again. I stood ready, we where all good at combat, but Loki had the skills of magic, Thor his strength and Sif her determination was what got her through most battles. However, I would not get my powers until I ascend so for now, my skills would have to do.
"Are you ready brother? Or do you with to continue talking until the sun goes down?!" Thor yelled over to them, earning a disgusted look from Loki, but an a,used look from me and Sif. "Planning is never tedious, brother!" Loki yelled back and then returned to his combat position. Thor laughed, "3.......2.......1.......go!" He yelled and we all immediately charged at each other, fisting bearing. Thor went straight to Sif and they took part in a lengthy battle for dominance, I however was moving much slower behind Thor but keeping my eyes wide, not only monitoring Loki, but Sif and Thor. Also staring for anyone else, I opened up my sense and let the feeling of anticipation flow through me. Loki was no longer charging at me, he stopped abruptly and smiled. "You look worried Annie, do not tell me baby can't fight?" He tormented, which only seemed to rattle me up more, I charged at him full force only to be met with the ground in my face. "Oww?" I spoke in confusion, why did I hit the floor? I was just about to pounce of Loki? Then I heard a shrieking laughter behind me, I rolled on to my back, experiencing some pain from the fall. Only to be met with Loki's wide, entrancing green eyes. I then realised it was an illusion, I became angry. That was cheating and he knew it, we were not allowed magic in these battles. But that was Loki, never following the rules. "That's cheating Loki!" I cried whilst lifting my self off the ground and barging passed him. "Annie, oh dear sweet Annie, it's all part of the game!"
I marched away, I wasn't going to play if he was cheating. I inherited my stubbornness from my father, but my forgiveness from my mother. I swung my body into a near by tree and slumped in the shade, proving relief from the burning Asgardian sun that I had danced in all afternoon. Loki approached me slowly, a smirk still on his face, he slumped next to me, "oh, Annie it's only a game!" He commented, waiting for my reaction. I didn't move, I didn't even look at him, I made him feel as though he wasn't there. I knew this would annoy him and I enjoyed annoying him seen as how he did it to everyone else enough. When I didn't answer, he began to fidget. "Annie, I'm sorry." He whispered, staring at me patiently. I still didn't answer, "fine then, if you are going to act like a baby, then I'm going to treat you like a baby!" He yelled, startling me and causing me to shift slightly. Then he pushed me to the ground and pinned me down by my arms like he had when I was a child and we would play Monsters and Hero's. "Loki what are you doing?!" I squirmed within his grasp, which only excited him more. "Like I said, act like a baby and I'll treat you like a baby?" With that he then lowered his mouth to my neck and stomach and began blowing raspberries. I laughed and giggle, almost crying. Trying desperately to get free of him, but he had a strong grip that was hard to break, even nowadays my age of ten and he of thirteen, he was still much stronger then me. "Loki please! Okay I'm sorry I ignored you!" I screamed, closing my eyes because I couldn't bear the tickling or the raspberries. He stopped momentarily, he looked up at me, "is that a sorry I hear?" He inquired, moving one of his hands to brush a curl that had fallen on my face away. I pulled a face, angry that he was no acting like a child. I paused, not wanting to admit my defeat, "fine! I'm sorry!" I screamed, catching him off guard, I took advantage that he now only had one hand pinning me down. I used my free arm to tickle him, then him onto his back and then straddled him. "Whaaa-" was all he could say as I was now pinning him down. I laughed at my achievement and yelled for Thor and Sif. "Now where were we? Oh I think you were just about to apologise to me?!" I smirked, he only looked at my in utter surprise, he didn't say anything. I was actually worried that he didn't say anything, usually he would at least congratulate me or something but nothing escaped his thin lips. "Loki?!" I bellowed, tugging on his shoulder. Still no answer, Thor and Sif where still not here so I assumed they didn't hear me. Loki was now looking pale, his yes where beginning to close. I panicked, "Loki?! Answer me! Loki please!" Still no answer, I got off of him and lay his head in my lap. Still no movement. His eyes now fully closed and his breathing slowed, "Loki!! No please Loki wake up! Please you have to wake up!" I cried, tears falling from my face. What happened? He couldn't just stop like that, I needed Thor. "Thor! Please Thor it's Loki?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, earning a breathless grasp once I had finished. I cradled Loki's head, brushing the hair from his face, I racked my brain for answers but none came to mind. I then Leaned down to his ear, I took a breath and then whispered "Loki, brother please. Don't leave me, I'm sorry for the battle, you did win, please don't leave me. I need you." I cried, the tears full stream now. I heard a soft laughter from below me, I was confused, I started down a Loki who's colour had returned and smirk on his face. I grabbed his head and forced him to look at me, "Loki?! Your! Your!" I cried, I didn't know whether it was relief or anger I was feeling. He gazed up at me and then spoke softly "I had to find someway to prove that I was right!" He joked, and automatically I realised what he meant, he tricked me. It was all a trick, just to get me to say sorry and prove he was right. Anger boiling inside me now, how could he just toy with my already flustered emotions like that?! Why would he! I pushed his head from my lap and stood up. "How dare you do that to me! How dare you toy with my emotions so!" I boomed, my temper was far worse then Odin's many would say, including Odin himself. I cringed, I thought I lost Loki forever, I could never cope with losing one of my brothers. I brought me an indescribable feeling of pain and anger that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. Loki seemingly realised his mistake because me stormed over to me and wrapped me up in his arms, eloping me in a hug of pure regret. At first I wanted to push him away, but then I gave in and sobbed into his shoulder. Then Thor approached us with Sif close to his side. "Well what if this! Fraternising with the enemy!" He giggled, Sif joining in upon the mockery, clearly they didn't notice my tears. Loki rubbed my back in a soothing circle, "I am sorry sister, I didn't mean to upset you" he whispered into my ear, before kissing my forehead and wiping a tear away from me eye. Thor and Sif were too engrossed into their conversation to notice what was going on. Loki pulled away from me, I let him go and we all followed Thor's instruction to return to the the palace, Sif went home and the three of us walked back, satisfied with the days work.
