Can You See Me?

Anthea's POV

I felt the overwhelming force of Loki draining my body of all the energy, keeping me on the brink of death.

He couldn't fully absorb the power cause by my ascension, it would kill both him and me.

The power would be too great for his body to muster, it was magic mad for me, not for him.

He kept me chained to a bed.

Not only was I trapped in this spirit realm with my brother who had admitted to wanting to rape me, but now he was draining me of every ounce of strength I had.

For the first time in my life, I feared Loki.

I feared him.

He would visit me, but only when he decided, it's like a dream here, one works differently.

To me, it feels as though I have been trapped here for a thousand years, when in reality, it could only have been five minuets.

Everything is blank here, you can tell it's not realty, when you stare at things long enough, you can begin to see the faint blurriness that surrounds them.

That's all I've been able to do, state into the abyss.

"Steve.." I wish, closing my eyes and picturing his face.

"Now, I'll be having none of that" the shrill sense of Loki fills me and I immediately flush my back against the back of the bed and bring my knees to my chest.

Loki emerges from a locked door, a wicked smile of his lips.

"Anthea, my wife, why do you shy away from me?" His words twisted and foul, he spoke as if we ha already wed, that I had willingly spoke the binding words of 'I do'

"I am not your wife, nor will I ever be" I sort quickly, hoping to diminish any ideas he had.

His face twisted into a snarl as he vastly approached me. I panicked and tried to run, only to have him tug of my chains an pull me to him.

I screamed as I felt his cool fingertips trace my ankles.

"L-Loki...please stop" I cried, hiding my face.

I heard him laugh and pull my hands away from my face.

"Oh Anthea, I may not be able to take your innocence in here, but once I have the power, I will make you scream"

He was proud of his statement.

All I could do was let stray, hot tears streak my face, as his brutal lips attached to mine.
