Giyuu's pov.
He grew a bit worried for the Wind Hashira's state. Besides the worsening fever that continued on for days, he also suffered the concussion of fainting at Headquarters. Giyuu knew if, for not the fever, Sanemi would have undoubtedly survived the hit. The subject that still remains, as a fever should not have faltered such a strong and capable Hashira.
There must have been something on his mind. Was it me again?
He picked himself up from the sideways position, now sitting properly in his chair. He looked into Sanemi's closed eyes, now around the room. Everything was so bare and undecorated. Excluding the wet towel, the bowl of cold water, glass of water, and bandages, there would be nothing but his chair, nightstand, and bed. His bed. Which is now being occupied by Sanemi.
The nights in which Sanemi was passed out, Giyuu had been sleeping on his chair next to him, making sure to soak the towel periodically and trying to make him take sips of water. Occasionally, he found himself to be on his blanket. Knowing the person who currently uses the blanket at moment, he quickly straightens his back, secretly hoping Sanemi wouldn't have woken up at that moment.
Now, he had still not been caught by Sanemi. It wouldn't matter if he would become embarrassed and it wouldn't matter if Sanemi started recklessly swearing at him. All he wanted was for him to wake up and be well. After all, he was guilty of being an inconvenience to Sanemi.
He noticed the water in the glass had nearly been finished. He needed to refill it. Before exiting the room, he slipped his sword at his side for good measure. He has been suspecting a presence of a demon as of late and he will need to protect Sanemi if does not wake up soon. Sanemi will be an easy target for demons to complete their task for Muzan, as many of their tasks are to obliterate the Hashira.
He takes one look back and slides the door shut. He walked slowly to his kitchen, taking turns around his mansion. He stopped for a moment but continued on. He made his steps quieter, trying to sense his surroundings, concentrating.
He dropped the glass to the hard floor. The remaining water splattered, as the glass shattered into pieces. He drew his sword out quickly into a ready position, facing the direction in which he came from. He stood steadily, glancing around for any trace of a demon.
There it is.
The demon peaked behind the wall, a big grin was displayed on its face.
Hi everyone! A lot of the comments I have been receiving make me laugh so much! I really appreciate them. There are comments about Sanemi's eyebrows and uh... I actually forgot he doesn't have eyebrows. Basically pretend he has them in your imagination. Also, there may be some slight manga spoilers that haven't been covered in the anime that I may put in later chapters. So anyways, stay tuned! Happy Holidays <3
