After eating, everyone was waiting for each other at the studio. They planned to go to the venue together. They had also only rehearsed for 5 hours, but even so, Yami had almost everything down. It's probably because of muscle memory. After all, she's had 16 years of practice.
"Alright! Are we all ready to head out?" Venti asked as everyone arrived. The rest nodded in response and headed into their white van. They had 3 hours before the actual concert, so they could probably do a dry run or two.
"Let's eat, I'm hungry," Hu Tao said, reaching out to hold Yanfei's hand. The pink-haired girl stopped scrolling through her phone and looked up, a small smile surfacing on her face as she saw the person who was holding her hand.
"Again? But sure. Are you guys up for Mcdonald's?" Venti asked, pointing at the restaurant. "My treat this time."
"We might be disturbing someone's sleep, though," Yanfei said pointedly at Tsuki.
Being a light sleeper, Tsuki mumbled, "I wasn't sleeping," but rubbed her eyes all the same.
Venti plopped back down into his seat, as he had to inform Yami — who was driving — that they were stopping at the Mcdonald's ahead of them. Taking out his phone with a mischievous grin, he started going live without warning.
"Hello everyone~" Venti smiled sweetly, then focused the camera on Tsuki. "This is the famous pianist, Nishimura Tsuki, in the flesh. And, as you can see, she looks hideous 'cause she just woke up!" He concluded happily.
Tsuki glared at him, "Shut it, Starbucks coffee size option."
"Ouch," Venti said dramatically, "Anyway, we'll see you guys at the concert~ Love y'all! Please support us to help save some money for Tsuki's therapy!" And he ended the live stream which did not even last two minutes.
"Ugh, I hate you so much," Tsuki muttered, "You're the one who deserves therapy."
"I love you too!" Venti laughed and leaned back on his seat. Tsuki rolled her eyes. Since she was already awake, she decided not to go back to sleep. The band was quiet for a while, their mouths stuffed with Mcdonald's. They were parked in the parking lot because Tsuki insisted they stop so that Yami could eat too.
"Are we there yet?" Tsuki whined like an impatient child not even five minutes after they got back on the road.
"Tsuki, that video of yours already has 4 million views," Yanfei said airily.
"What?!" Tsuki exclaimed, taking Yanfei's phone out of her hands. She stared at the screen for a split second and said, "I have never felt so much hatred towards a person in my whole life."
"Is that another statement of you stating your love for me?" Venti asked, taking small scoops of his vanilla ice cream.
"Why can't this man understand what hate is?!" Tsuki shouted angrily.
"She's in one of her daily mood swings, don't talk to her," Xiao called from the front seat, popping some gum into his mouth.
"You're aggravating her even more," Hu Tao frowned.
"Guys, shut up, you're giving me a headache," Yanfei sighed.
"Why don't we throw Venti out of the window, he's the headache," Tsuki muttered.
"Excuse me?" Venti asked, affronted.
"Okay, seriously, Yanfei's right," Yami said from the driver's seat, "You guys shut up."
"Nah, we're having the time of our lives," Venti said.
"You guys are distracting the driver," Yanfei pointed out, "We could die for all we know."
