Walking through a no-man's land
Barren beaches, icy seas
As alone here as in a crowd
Truth here is present that no one says aloud
Uniqueness never realized
Salvation lost among the rest
Here wanders lost soldiers of paradise
That paradise that's lost
You're lost now, so give your dreams a rest
If you're tired of searching, here is where it ends
There's nothing left to mourn, nothing to protect
Learn to love solitude, here that's all you possess
Welcome to the Lost
Overlooking the sunset coast
Remembering life before
But back, even then, you know you wanted more
Longing still fills up your hopeless heart
You're lost now, so give your dreams a rest
If you're tired of wanting, here is where it ends
There's nothing left to mourn, nothing to forget
Learn to love nothing, here that's all you possess
Welcome to the Lost
Enemy of my enemy
That enemy the outside world
All allegiances left behind
Look past those wars outside
We're lost now, so give our pasts a rest
If you're tired of war, here is where it ends
There's nothing left to mourn, nothing to avenge
Learn to love each other, here that's all you possess
Welcome to the Lost
This is basically about how society is full of unfair biases and wars and conflicts and in general is sucky, but it's getting better, slowly. Sometimes, all we have is each other, so we'd better learn to appreciate that, or we have nothing.
