Perfect Beauty

Chapter 1

Malakai's POV:

   Centuries ago my brothers and I have hunted and killed those Vampires non stop, since that night. We've traveled the world hunting, killing, feeding, but most of all getting justice for our mother.

   Funny how one vampire can make a huge target on its own kind in one night. Others reap what he sow.

Along the way we made ourselves the names 'Immortals' since we can't be killed. Believe me many have tried, it hurts like hell but we never perish.

I believe the only way we can for is by being beheaded. But we have no fear when it comes to death since nobody we have encountered matches the strength like ours.

Throughout the years we have gained enemies and allies. Word got out quickly that we the 'Immortals' were targeting the vampires and other beings stayed out of the our way when they caught wind of us.

   We noticed the vampires have been gathering in groups now. Usually it's only two or three but now there's six or seven but no matter they all will be perished by our hands.

Soon we realized that we weren't the only ones hunting the vampires. A girl. A teenage one at that, hunts and slays the vampires and demons. Sadly they don't live very long, someone or something always overpowers her.

After the girl died another stands up to the challenge. There's actually a quote to explain her destiny.

In every generation there is a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.

  A Slayer has the strength that rivals the vampires and other beings but not ours. The way we all found that out was as we were feeding the Slayer attacked us believing that the humans we were feeding on were innocent.

They weren't, they were vile men that deserved to wiped out. But she didn't ask, she just attacked making my brothers and I go in defense mode.

Tobias and I tried talking to her but to no vail. Zayden ended up killing her despite our protests. Speaking of my brother he has gone completely power hungry.

Do to our different views on power he abandoned Tobias and I. I guess he wants power more than family's loyalty.

   "Kai, we got to get ready for school," Tobias interrupts me as I write in my journal. I set my pen down and turn to look at him with a raised eyebrow.

   "We can't be late for your first day," he exclaims in a teasing tone making me roll my eyes and stand up.

  "No, I suppose we can't," I sigh grabbing my keys, leather jacket, and my bag that has my school supplies. I close my journal before walking out of my room with Tobias who's already dressed.

   The only reason I'm even going to school is because I made a deal with Tobi that he can pick when I go to school. But under one condition that this will be my first and last time going to school.

   As we walk down the hall Katherine comes out of her room grouchy. Turns out we can turn humans into our kind.

   Zayden is the one who was curious about it and but a man once before we watched if anything would happen. The man simply passed out and awoke hours later thirsty to which Zayden gave him human blood. And his transformation was complete he was a vampire but he couldn't go out in the sun like us with out burning.

   Katherine White or Valerious now is a girl we turned after finding her being abused by her fiancé and stepmom in 1445. She was only 17 summers or 17 years old a child still.
