she wanted to test her husband

Edgar sighed tapping his paintbrush against his head as he tried to think of what to paint. He groaned with no thoughts coming to his head.

she knew exactly what to do

A knock sounded at his door and he stood up opening it clearly irritated, “What is it?” He asked with a ignorant tone, The Perfumer glared at him. “Don't talk to me like that. You have a match, now.” She walked off after that leaving the painter dumbfounded. He scoffed and glared holes into the back of her head as she walked away, swishing her hair.

a pseudonym to fool him

He shut the door to his room and made his way to the lobby where 3 other survivors waited. They talked amongst each other with silent whispers. All Edgar managed to make out was: “I heard we have a new hunter.. Apparently it's a girl, I hope she's easy to go against..” Before his vision faded to darkness. The sound of glass cracking was heard through his ears as colours filled his eyes.

Sacred Heart Hospital.

He sighed knowing he spawned on the second floor, he started decoding the nearby cipher as Eli's owl flew around his head before leaving.

she couldn't have made a worse move

Edgar groaned feeling his heart beat fast. He turned around seeing the hunter, he stopped out of amazement. She was drop dead gorgeous. Literally.
She had long h/c hair that went up to her knees, stunning but striking e/c eyes that made her look like a model. Her skin was pale but smooth and porcelian like a doll, She wore a black lace dress having cuts all over the visible parts of her body. Across just below her collarbone was what seemed like a rose tattoo with a knife stabbing the middle of it. Her weapon was a sword that had the spikes of a chainsaw on the sharp side with a flower design on the handle.

she sent him scented letters

She stood there confused as to why he wasn't running, she paid no attention to it and hit him with her sword snapping him out of his trance.
“The hunter is near me!” He yelled sketching her appearance only to be knocked down in practically less then five seconds. He groaned clutching his head, “Sorry..” He said as she dragged him by the leg behind her down the hole of the second floor and down the stairs that led out of the hospital on the first floor.

and he received them with a strange delight

A cipher popped in the distance with one following as he got chaired. He struggled against the wires that held him down, She crouched in front of his chair leaning her hands on the handle of her weapon as she examined him.
“W-Why're you looking at me..?” The Painter asked looking away shyly, She chuckled.
“Dunno. You seem.. different, from the others.” Edgar rose a brow, “Different..? How so?” She shrugged standing up, “I'm not sure, you just.. Seem oddly familiar.. Oh well.” His teammate — Eli, came to rescue him. While he was rescuing, he stopped midway as his heart beated. His hands gripped the wire holding Edgar down tightly.

just like, his wife

Eli's eyes filled with tears as the hunter faded into a smiling image of his ex wife, he yelped being terror shocked. He blinked feeling his tears fall down, “I-I.. S-Sorry, Edgar..”
