A/N This poem is dedicated to my best friend who has been dealing with Gastroparesis for the past year and a half. She hasn't been able to have a normal life and has been in and out of school constantly at the hospital. I love her so much and it hurts to know she has to deal with this. This is a really personal poem that I wrote for her she knows she's not alone, that she never is and never will be. I love you <3
Please, don't you worry,
I promise, we'll get through.
Because the obstacles life throws at us,
Makes us someone new.
It makes us become stronger,
As we take everything in our stride.
We'll face life once again, fearless,
With nothing in our eyes but pride.
You are my best friend and you don't deserve this,
But this is another hardship that we will fight together.
But you can't leave me, not now, not yet.
So we'll fight this, like we always have, forever.
