I think she was always thinking about you
By the way she talked
And the art she drew
All those poems on a paper
And a pencil just to scrape her
To make her feel a little better
Taking the edge off he just let her
He saw all the scars
And saw all the marks
She didn't wanna blame him
But sometimes you gotta sin
She keeps saying it's because of her dad
And it's true, he made her sad
But never like this
Never so much pain
Now we sit burying her remains
Nobody notices until that casket's ordered
Everyone's so different toward her
In life she was crying
And begging for help
But now she's dead
At least she isn't alone in her bed
Crying until 3 AM
About that boy who never cared
All the love was never shared
And don't get her wrong she was smart
But that didn't manage her heart
She knew he didn't love her
And so she never felt the same
There was always this aching
This little message in her brain
Saying it was gonna be ok
And she didn't have to be afraid
But there she was scraping away
Nobody cared
But here they are on socials
These people aren't even locals
But they're crying like they knew her
But if they did then why's she gone
Nobody pays attention
To all those pictures she's drawn
Invisioning herself in the grave
But God no she wasn't brave
They say she did it for attention
But they've just never felt that way
She lasted until then
So I'm not disappointed I'm proud
Because in her note
Her voice was never so loud
She let everyone know
About the wrong they had done
But now she's gone
And there's nowhere else to run
So tell your sister you love her
Tell your mom you miss her, too
Because before you know it
That girl might just be you
