Some Behzksi for not_alisson.
Ethan laughed against the skin of the man's neck, too drunk to care about being so close, being in such a position, with a random stranger he had just met. At a bar. On a Friday night. In London.
This was why no one ever argued that Ethan wasn't a dumb drunk. (No one ever argued that Ethan wasn't dumb, sadly enough.)
"Shit, why are we still wearing clothes? I thought I told mine to get off, already." Said stranger groaned, his voice a gruff whisper in Ethan's ear.
Ethan only laughed harder, feeling nothing more than joy for the situation. He was glad that he was able to have a good time - especially after his last, very recent break up.
And by recent, he meant that the break up had only been finalised that very morning. It had been due for ages, now. Both parties involved had seen it coming, had been expecting it for months before they both decided that it was time. They mutually decided to end things. For good, this time.
Ethan realised he probably shouldn't be thinking about his ex whilst he was with someone else, banging on the gates of passion as he pleaded to be let in.
"That's not how it works, you dumbass."
"Do I look like I care? Now, get naked. Wanna suck you. Want you to suck me after, too."
Ethan cackled to himself, his laughs a soft vibration against the - clearly sensitive - skin belonging to the man in front of him. He had never heard someone sound so desperate, before.
~~~
Ethan lay awake on the large, luxurious bed of the hotel suite his 'date' had booked for them the night before. (Well, the man wasn't really his date, never had been, since the two of them were just a hookup; just two random guys who met at a bar one night. 'Date', however, sounded a lot better than sexmate, or fuck buddy, for example.)
Ethan was reminded of the man's presence, shocked out of his own distracted thoughts by a snore from the body next to him.
JJ. That was the name the man had begged for Ethan to call him as they... had sex. It had been a desperate, pre-orgasm request that Ethan had had no qualms with fulfilling. In his opinion, the request was more than successfully completed.
JJ rolled over with another snore, turning in his sleep until he was facing Ethan. His face was lax, peaceful-looking and (mind Ethan's language) beautiful.
Ethan, too, rolled over onto his side, just to get a better look at the face he had been too intoxicated to really appreciate mere hours ago. He had sobered up, now; all it had taken was a couple, satisfactory rounds of sex, and six wonderful hours of restful sleep.
What a night Ethan had had.
~~~
"Oh, bro... you're still here." JJ said, his tone holding a certain tint to it that Ethan couldn't quite place.
Ethan's face dropped, immediately, at the other man's words. He stayed where he was on the bed, frozen in place on his side. He stared with wide eyes, across the bed, at the stranger he had allowed to be intimate with him. So easily, as well.
Just ten minutes ago Ethan's life had felt kind of perfect. Now, it felt... not so perfect, to summarise (politely).
"Am I... am I not supposed to be here, still?"
JJ - quite clearly - held in a grimace at Ethan's question, his tongue poking at the inside of his bottom lip nervously.
"Nah, it's - of course you can stay. That's definitely okay."
Ethan's eyebrows furrowed, then. He didn't, really, know how to feel about this, right now.
He decided to simply laugh it off. "You're kinda acting like I'm you're dirty little secret. You got someone else coming to your fancy hotel suite for sex?"
See, Ethan had been joking. The tone with which he had asked the question was light-hearted and rhetorical.
The face that JJ reflexively pulled, however, seemed anything but that, to Ethan.
"Wait, do you?" Ethan asked again, wanting to make sure; wanting a real answer. (Or at least, you know, an answer. He'd take any answer, at this point.)
"Aha, maybe." JJ spoke diffidently, with a sheepish smile on his face, faintly curling up the two corners of his mouth.
"Oh." Ethan muttered, feeling lost.
He stayed in the bed for about ten seconds, merely lost in thought, trying to process both his bedmates words and his own feelings on the matter. After that, he instantly shot up and headed for his pile of clothes from last night, stacked haphazardly on the floor, a few metres from the comfortable hotel bed.
As he worked on pulling his clothes on as fast as he could, a murmured mantra of, "Oh my god... you're serious... fuck, you're not joking," replayed again and again continuously, released into the air as a quiet, rambling jumble of words and sounds.
JJ sat up in the bed, then, the duvet bunched around his hips; Ethan had to remind himself to not even look in his direction, otherwise he knew he would be too tempted to stray away from respectful eye contact.
If Ethan was to look over at JJ, he'd notice that his facial expression was both confused and reluctantly sympathetic. His eyes had gone soft, a stark contrast to the harsh intensity from the previous night.
"It's not that you didn't like... satisfy me - you did! I just, have this friend. Saturday is our day, usually. But I haven't seen them in a couple weeks so I thought I'd book us a hotel. May as well stay in it myself for a few days extra."
That oddly hurt Ethan, for some reason. The fact that the hotel wasn't payed for, wasn't booked, with the hope of a good time (with him in mind), shouldn't be upsetting. But it was, strangely enough.
God, Ethan needed to get out of his feelings. Even if it was just for a short moment. He needed these things gone. (Soon, preferably.)
Feeling numb for a little while wouldn't be too bad, Ethan thought. Especially after everything that had happened in his life, recently.
Ethan, although he was already dressed by the time it happened, panicked at the sound of a knock on the polished wooden door.
His head darted towards JJ, his face pink and his eyes wide.
JJ laughed. "Shit, you might want to leave, now."
Okay, but how? Ethan got the feeling JJ didn't want him to be seen with him - ever. There was also someone at the door. How could he leave and yet not be seen at the same time?
Another knock at the door had Ethan letting out a hushed, surprised scream.
JJ merely flopped back down against the mattress, leaving Ethan to find a solution to this mess all by himself.
