Hayden's POV

We are on the plane now. I still don't know why are they so loud. They also brought a lot of food. They don't want to cater the food because they say it's completely tasteless.

I seated myself by myself with Peanut of course. All of the people have a company of their own. They don't want to bother me because they know I'm going to blow up. Even my Tia doesn't bother me.

I hate myself for ignoring her but I know I have to. I wouldn't handle the pain of rejection.

Scarlett seated beside her sister, Vanessa. She keeps looking in my direction but then looks away when I'll notice her. I brushed it off and continue playing with Peanut.

A few moments have passed, we are still away. It's like the longest flight ever. Isaac asked if he can sit on the vacant seat that I have.

"Ate can I sit down here? It's boring over there"

He pointed at their seat and then sat on the seat.

"Of course, buddy," I said with a smile.

"Can I ask you a question, Ate?"

"Yes. What's up?"

"What's your dream job before you can be the CEO of the company?"

"I would like to be a surgeon someday... Isaac, there is something you aren't telling Ate... What is it?"

"Are you upset because of me?" He said while his head is bowed down. I know he is crying already.

I lifted his head, cupped his face and wipe the tears on his cheeks.

"What? No, Ate is not upset with you. Why would you think of that?"

"Because I stole your shirts"

"It's okay. You can steal all my old shirts okay? Now don't cry. Ate is not upset"

"Then why are you upset?"

"I'm just stressed and don't know what to do about it bud. Don't worry"

"You can tell your problems to me and all of your secrets. You said that to me. We are the secret buddies remember that, Ate?"

My heart broke because I know what he meant on 'remember that Ate?'. I didn't spend much time with him anymore as we used to in the Philippines.

"Yeah, bud. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to spend much time with you but I promise I will."

"It's okay. I know you need to be friends with your age"

"That doesn't mean I can't hang out with you anymore. They are nothing. You're still my buddy"

"Always?"

"Always and forever"

"So what's the thing you're stressing about? Scarlett again?"

"In fact, yes. I promised myself that I will avoid her from now on"

"Why?"

"Because I can't keep falling to a person who can't catch me because it hurts so bad"

"Yeah. You are doing a great job at avoiding her by the way"

"How do you know about that?" I said while making a frown.

"She's upset when she came down earlier for breakfast. I assume it's because of you. I saw her come out of your room"

Wtf? Is this an FBI agent or some shit?
