Hayden's POV

Everything that the lady said sank in into my mind. It made me confused and hurt at the same time. I don't understand how did I get a sister and she's the same age as me. Did Papa cheat on Dad? Does anyone in the family know about this?

I rapidly left the scene and went to Tia's room. I can't handle the pain anymore. Once she saw me on a verge of crying, she went and hug me. That's when my tears keep flowing and flowing that I couldn't stop anymore. I quietly sobbed because I don't want the others to know my state. As she rubbed my back, trying to calm me down, she also whispers some sweet things into my ears.

"Hey, everything is going to be fine with you and Scarlett. Fights between couples are typical but as the time flows you two can fix it eventually, you understand?" She said as I calmed down.

I don't think we'll fix this. She likes Jack but she can't be with him because I'm in the middle. I'm gonna do the right thing, which is to let her go. If she's happy with him, who am I to stop her from her happiness. I promised her that I'll make her happy and if that means letting her go then so be it. As long as she is loved and happy, I'm happy.

"I saw her and the other guy... Kissed... When I was about to apologize, the guy was there and they were talking and then... When I got out of the car, I saw them kissing... It hurts so much, to see her with another person... Is there something wrong with me Tia? Did I do something wrong?"

"Listen, there is nothing wrong with you. You are perfect and if she didn't appreciate you then it's her loss... You did nothing wrong also because you treated her the way that a woman deserves to be treated. You've probably done more than a guy should treat a woman"

Another minute of comfortable silence.

"Tia, did Papa cheat on Dad, before or right after I was born?"

My question made her widen her eyes.

"Not that I know of... But when you were still in my stomach, they fought. It was a serious fight and your Papa left your Dad for a few days... Why did you suddenly ask?"

"Because there's a possibility that the lady downstairs is telling the truth and that girl that she is with... Is my sister"

"Can you watch Isaac and El? I have to go downstairs... I promise you, everything is going to be okay"

I nodded and she went out of the room, leaving me with my two younger cousins. I laid down beside both of them, as the time flew by, looking at nothing and thinking about everything that happen, Amelia whimpered in her sleep. I picked her up and laid her on top of my chest. I rubbed her back as I try to make her fall asleep again, while Isaac clutched my arm. After a time of silence, I finally fell into my slumber.

Time skip

I woke up after a few hours of sleep, I noticed that Isaac and Amelia are now gone. When I went out of the room, there was a lot of screaming and arguing and the room is full of rage and anger. When I was about to go downstairs, somebody went out of my room. It was the bitch, Blair.

"What the fuck are you doing in my room?"

"Well, when you're gone, it's gonna be my room. Just checking how will I decorate it because you know I'm part of my family now"

"Listen here you little fucking bitch, who acts rich but not, I may leave this place and own something but you will never be part of this family"

"Oh please, we both know the ending of this situation... You and I are gonna share our father's property or maybe I get to be the heir of the company"
