Chapter 14

This sounds a bit lame but nobody commented on my last chapter so I decided to chose the name. It might be because you haven't verified your account but still. So here is Chapter 14!

Charlie! Charlie was going to be my new name. I was the new girl at a new school (my school) called Charlie.
I barricaded the bedroom door with a chair and boxes so no one could come in. Mum was hammering on the door for 5 minutes commanding me to open it. I kept it shut. She went away after a while.
"Moona? Moona let me in! It's Sunny! Open up! I just wanna talk to ya!" He said. His voice was calm but he sounded kind of sad.
"Where's mum?" I asked, considering to let him in.
"Mum went to her room. She's upset Moon's! Please just let me in!" I slowly got to my feet and padded across the carpet to the door. I unbarricaded the door and opened it. There was Sunny, sitting on the floor with his head in his hands. He looked up at me, his blonde floppy hair in his big blue eyes.
I held out my hands and hauled him up onto his feet. I wanted to know what was the matter but I didn't think it was the right time to ask. We embraced in a hug, combining our sadness. I sat him down on his bed.
"What's the matter?" I asked putting my arm round his limp shoulders. He shook his head sadly so I left it at that. I put my arm back by my side. There was an awkward silence that filled the room. It has always been hard to say things to my brother because I never no what unexpected reaction I will get.
"Anyway," he gulped breaking the awkwardness that felt like a lifetime, "What's with all this anyway?" He wondered gesturing at me with his hands. It was my turn to gulp.
"I was a loser and you know it! You and Star hate me, Nat portrayed me, I was being bullied, I was a loser and I looked stupid! Why do you think?" I said in an outcry,flopping back on my bed and staring at the ceiling.
"Hey! Enough to of that's, we don't hate you, you just get on our nerves sometimesWho bullied you coz I swear to god I will...."
"Don't worry!" I said interupting his fierce speech quickly. I couldn't tell him it was Alexa! Him and Alexa were going out for over four months! Which was mad since we're in year 8 and Sunnys in year 10! Alexa cheated on him with Daniel Wills who is in his year and broke Sunnys heart. Daniel and Alexa broke up a week later! Sunny said his heart was crushed but I knew he still loved her.
"Don't worry? Someone has ruined your life and made you be like this! They deserve what's coming too th....." he raged but I stopped him in mid-sentence.
"Alexa..." I muttered without processing it through my brain first. Sunny's facial expression suddenly turned from love to hate.
"Alexa Roberts? My Alexa Roberts?!" What did he mean his Alexa Rob....oh. I didn't want to know but he could read my mind telepathically!
"She's my girlfriend! Your just jealous! Just because you can't get a boyfriend coz your a geek you want to ruin it for me! Now your show your true colours! You little.... see ya Moona!" He shouted with such tempest rage and stormed out the room, slamming the door, leaving me with my face in my pillow, howling.
I heard Sunny shouting and Stars voice over powering it. She quickly swung open the door with her arms out wide to give me a hug. We embraced and I gripped her tight.
"Hey! Don't get makeup on my clothes! Why did you lie to Sunny like that! He's so upset! I understand you want to be bad but we're family!" heard her sigh.
"I'm not lying! I swear! Alexa and her minions bully me. Look at my knees and hands! All cut and bruised and grazed! You think I deliberately threw myself into a wall or the floor for fun!" I asked exasperated. She nodded and smiled.
"Okay! Okay! I believe you! I really do hate that Alexa! And minions really? This is not despicable me! Is Alexa Gru and she controls her friends, sorry minions! Imagine her with a big pointy nose!" We burst out laughing and we couldn't stop for 5 minutes. That's what I loved about Star, when I'm down and it's not her fault, she always has a way of making it better!
"You know what will make you cheer up?" I shook my head. "Shopping! I'll take you tomorrow! Dad gave me £200! We have this project at school about making someone transform and you will be it! All I need to do is take a few snaps of you! Oh, and I might need you to steal £20 from mum again! I'll pay for you though!" I smiled at her gratefully but I felt nervous inside. My guts felt like jelly with the fear of stealing from mum again. Star clapped her hands and told me about a brand new pair of heels she wanted. But I couldn't concentrate, my day has gone horribly. I'd been hurt, chased out of school, annoyed my mum and apparently lied to my brother! Could it get any worse?
