Chapter 16

All eyes were on me, the teachers and the students. Some of the boys started wolf whistling and I smirked at them, placing one of my hands on my hip, leaning on one leg. Alexa's eyes went huge, then she smiles when she noticed me looking. My first impression on Alexa seems good so far! The receptionist whispered something in my form teachers ear and then stormed off as Miss Laurent rolled her eyes. The receptionist was definitely talking about me.
"Hello!" Miss Laurent welcomed, her big teeth forming a grin. "You must be Ch...."
"Charlie Smith!" I introduced, interrupting her. "Schools bad girl and beauty!" I explained flipping my red locks over my shoulders and winked. A few of the popular boys winked back and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I got boys on my tail already! The number of single people in America is 54,250,000, I might not be like one of them any more!
For once, Alexa had an empty seat next to her at the back of her room. She always takes the back seats so she can sneak on her phone in classes. I walk past the rest of the class, wiggling my bum in my short skirt.
"Did I say you could seat? More importantly did I tell you where you could sit?" Miss Laurent questions.
"Oops! What a shame!" I say sarcastically as I take my seat. Alexa laughs at me, but in a good way.
"Just because your new don't meant I won't go hard on you young lady! You better watch out if you don't watch yourself!" She threatens but I just laugh!
"No you watch out! I've been expelled from 3 schools and excluded 10 times! I think it's the other way round!" I threaten back! Miss Laurent gulped fighting back her nerves. I think she was going to stay away from me from now on! What the hell was I thinking! I'm a person I've made up on the spot and now they been expelled and excluded many times at schools I've never went to!
"Expelled and excluded? From 3 schools! You must be some bad ass!" Exclaimed Alexa in a fit of giggles. Oh god maybe she didn't believe me!
"So what schools were you excluded and expelled from?" She asked in awe. My mind went blank! Think Moona, think!
"Evergreen, Evendale and Greenwich!" I said. They were the most famous schools in Manchester. They were the first school that came to my mind!
"Where are they?" Asked a bewildered Alexa. She never payed attention in Geography so she probably wouldn't know where Manchester was!
"In and about Manchester. I'm not from there, I moved there when I was 10 so I don't have an accent or anything!" She nodded. She removed her phone from her pocket.
"Instagram? Snapchat?" She asked, her fingers hovering over the keyboard. I told her my name and she added me. I had 3G on my iPhone 5c (the only thing my dad has ever bought me) and added Alexa back.
"Only 20 followers is that it?" I had only gained another 10 followers since the day me and Star created the accounts.
"My old account....got hacked ya see!" I quickly said. She nodded understandingly which is a stupid since it's all a lie! We took selfies and added them to our story on snapchat.
I saw Nat staring over at me and I stared back, hating her for what she did to me!
The core subjects were my favourite, Maths, English and Science. Experiments, books and algebra, equations and pie were my favourite things. Looks like that has to change.
"Girls! Be quiet or get out!" Miss Laurent shouted at me and Alexa. I stood up and Alexa stood by my side. I had already made an impression on her. Miss Laurent's face turned scarlet with rage!
"Sit down now or I'll give you an automatic detention! I don't care if you're new! This school does not take this sort of tolerance!" Alexa sharply sat down, backing down, obviously not wanting a detention. I sat down too, leaning my head on my hands, cupping my face.
Miss Laurent started to call out the register. The funny thing is me and Alexa's names our next to each other in the register! Looks like we were going to be sitting next to each other a lot.
"Alexa Roberts?"
"Here!" Alexa answered with a bored expression on her face.
"Charlie Smith?" Miss Laurent huffed.
"Whatever!" I called. My teacher stared at me coldly, gritting her teeth and carried on with the register.
"Moona Williams?" She called joyfully, her eyes lighting up. I was always her favourite because I was always the smartest! She frowned.
"Moona?" She question and then carried on with the register. Nat glared over at Alexa and smiled. Alexa looked straight through her, obviously ignoring her! Great! This is the start of sweet revenge on Nat! Her face dropped and went into a full stroppy mode, trying desperately not to look at us. When she finally did stir to look, I raised my eyebrow and laughed at her cruelly. She stuck her nose in the air proudly and then cowardly put it down again and put her head in her hands. I smirked. Today was going to be just fine!
At break, after Maths and Geography, I was surrounded by the whole year. Playing with my hair and their big eyes staring, mouth wide and gawping.
"So Lex, you wanna come round mine tonight?" Nat asked. But Alexa was to busy with me.
"Go away Natalie!" Alexa roared. She obviously didn't want to bother with her anymore since it was the first time ever since they were friends that she had called her Natalie!
"But..." Nat stammered.
"Are you def or somethin'?" I snarled. Nat looked taken aback by the words.
"What do you mean?!" She question, feeling scared.
"She said go away? Or were you too interested in yourself to notice anyone else you ugly sket!" I roared ferociously. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. A scarlet rash creeped up from her neck to her lips, to her nose, to her cheeks, finally reaching her forehead. She was red with tempest rage.
"At least I don't have hair the colour of blood! Is that the blood from your victims you've used?" She sneered. I've quite had enough of Nat over the past couple of weeks.
"Actually is the colour of a rose! And anyway, at least I don't look like I have a giant shit on my head!" I jeered. Everyone laughed around me, suddenly walking behind like my army force. I leaned on one leg and put my hand on my hip and smirked with triumph.
"Yeh the colour of a rose. It has sharp edges that hurt and stab you! A bit like you!" She stammered. Her lip quivered and her eyes began to water until one, big, salty seeped down her face. She looked at all of us and ran away into the direction of the girls toilets...
