Breakfast. The most important meal of the the day. Especially for me as I don't get to eat. That's because most of my food gets thrown on the floor or, mainly at me at lunch.
"Hello family!" I greet.
"S'up li'l sis!" says Sunny.
'Actually the expression 's'up,'is not in the dictionary and is not grammatically correct! You should ask 'what's up,'or 'how are you?'"
"There we go! I knew she'd come out with something GEEKY!" Star groans. I sigh. She's right.
"Star! Apologise to your sister this instant!" Mum shouts.
"NO! WHY SHOULD I! SHE'S JUST A LITTLE GEEK! Star screams! The word hit me hard. Harder than a ton of bricks! My own sister called me a GEEK!
"APOLOGISE!" Mum screeches!
"NO I HATE ALL OF YOU! I'M SICK OF THIS FAMILY, I'M SICK OF THIS HOUSE! I-I-I WISH THAT I COULD LIVE WITH DAD!" there's a stunned silence. Even Star looks shell shocked herself. I see tears prickling her eyes before they can run down her cheeks she grabs her school bag and sprints out of the door. Mum sits at the table head in her hands shaking away the fact that she is crying too.
"I'd... um ... better (gulp) go! See you later Mum. Love you Mum." He says that last bit quietly when he thinks no one can here him and before we know it, he's gone too.
"Mum..." I whisper,
"Go, Moona, just go!"
