Geek Girl- Becoming the Bad Girl

Chapter 3

Running down the spiral stairs from out flat feels like forever. Getting dizzy at each step, going round and round.

The four of us live in a rundown flat above a bike shop. Mum's lived there ever since Star was born. Mum was having a world win romance with Stars Dad, Mickey. He looks the spitting image of Star! The blonde floppy fringe over his bright blue eyes and tall and handsome! Just like a movie star. That's the reason Star has her name! Then Mum went out copped off with Sunny's Dad, Baxter. Baxter is a big, scary man with loads of tattoos! He scared me when he came over for Sunny's 6th birthday party when I was 4! However, somehow, Sunny adores him! Baxter always used to take him to football games or theme parks or if he didn't have the money, down the park to play some football.

"He's the best dad ever! Better than any of yours!" Sunny had said when he was 10. But after that there was an argument between Star and him that who's dad was better!
Sunnys pride didn't last long however, his dad hasn't spoken to him for two years. Sunny never talks of him anymore, as if he didn't exist!
I can't say much about my dad. Don't go feeling sorry for me or anything. I actually glad! I just think that dads are stupid! They just let you down! I'm just happy with mum!

"OI GEEK!" a voice shouts. Something hits the back of my head. "OI GEEK!" it says again. And a couple more things hit my head. I look down. Banana sweets lying on the floor.

"OI! ARE YOU DEFF GEEK!" I turn round. There, standing in front of me is Alexa with her minions, in there edited uniforms: rolled up skirts and loads of makeup that makes them look like clowns!

"So how's it going?" she snarls.

And I know there is no point answering because I know, she doesn't care!
