[part three] chapter eleven - thank you, chim

Taehyung sighs even as he tries to fight a smile. This is going to be a long week.

They're currently stuck in the worst traffic, and Vantae is leaning in to catch a glimpse of his phone as he curiously asks, "Who is it?"

Taehyung snorts as he shows him his screen. "Jimin-ah. I don't know if you've seen his recent tweets, but he's really excited to finally meet my 'hot' brother," he reveals, ensuring to add air quotes. "All my friends are, embarrassingly enough."

V tilts his head at him. "Wait, you have friends?"

His brother laughs and nudges his shoulder. "I'm kidding, Taehyungie. You should invite them out to breakfast with us."

Taehyung glances up at him dubiously. "I– Are you sure?" He questions. "Jimin may very well jump you on sight, you know."

Not that he was much better, running and dropping everything to hop into his hyungie's arms as soon as his eyes landed on him back at the airport– long legs wrapping around his waist, face buried in his neck, twin boxy grins and ecstatic giggles on display.

"I'll take my chances," Vantae suggestively wiggles his eyebrows at him, causing him to scrunch his face up in disgust. "I wanna meet the people who've been taking care of you, Bear."

Taehyung once again has to heave a dramatic sigh even as his lips wrestle a smile.
