[part seven] chapter twenty five - love the smell

He's halfway to heaven as soon as he opens his eyes. "Holy mother of–" He flinches away from the face directly in front of his. "Van-ah, what the f–"

"Care to explain?" His twin doesn't even let him finish his yelp, immediately replacing his face with his phone screen, making Taehyung's eyes go cross at the proximity.

He bumps the device away from him as his eyes struggle to adjust before he finally realises what he's being shown.

A blush paints his face hot in a second. He doesn't want to ponder too much about whether it's a result from the embarrassment that he's feeling at falling asleep in front of a stranger or at the words of the not-so-much-a-stranger-anymore.

All he does is shrug faux-indifferently, however. "What? I guess that I fell asleep while talking to him. What's the big deal?"

Vantae just looks incredibly confused. "Why were you talking to him in the first place, Bear?"

Taehyung raises both his eyebrows in response. "You– You mean you don't remember?"
