"I'm thinking a June wedding?"

"Because one of his nicknames is 'Joon'?" Seokjin's tone is dryer than the current state of Taehyung's unwashed-for-days hair as he inquires this.

Jeongguk glares in reply. "That's not important," he grumbles firmly. "Do you think that gives us enough time to prepare everything?"

"For the marriage happening in your dreams?" Jin scoffs. "Yeah, Kook. Plenty."

He gets a scoff back in an instant. "Don't act like I'm the delulu here when you literally changed your last name to 'Kim' on Twitter as soon as you found out."

Seokjin pinches Jeongguk's nearest side. "'Kim' is my last name, pabo-ya."

Tae snorts as the pair starts shoving each other back and forth on the couch then, mouths spilling curses and threats and claims of "he's mine" as they get throw pillows involved as well.

Yoongi signals that that's his cue to get in there because it's clearly much too effort on his part, and so Taehyung does, hopping onto Jeongguk's back and hugging his arms close to keep the youngest from yanking on their hyung's hair. He laughs as his brother's best friend struggles in his hold (obviously for show since he's the stronger of the two).

"Look, as much as I'm enjoying seeing the two of you bicker about who's going to end up with my friend whom neither of you have ever even met– Gguk-ah, it's our turn to make dinner, remember?"

Jeongguk still takes the chance to lift a leg to kick at Seokjin's thigh, but he ultimately relents, leaning his head back against Tae's chest and glancing up at him. "Don't you mean it's time for you to watch me make dinner?"

His answer comes out in a huff. "Hey, I help!"

The younger laughs and gets to his feet, pulling him up as well by both hands. "You're right, I'm sorry. Your exquisite plating really does pull everything together, doesn't it?"

Taehyung beams, bread cheeks puffing out, happy that his hard work from these past few days has been recognised. "Thank you."

Jeongguk isn't strong enough to fight the urge to kiss his temple. "You're adorable."

"And I'm revolted at this nauseating display of whippedness and refuse to have it within my eyesight any longer," Yoongi groans, pressing his thumb and index finger to his eyelids. "Remove yourselves at once."

Taehyung reddens, still not quite used to this whole thing with Jeongguk– still not used to all the looks and comments and expectations that come with it– from Jeongguk, the hyungs, Vantae, and even Taehyung himself. The other, though, is clearly very well adjusted as he simply playfully rolls his eyes before tugging Tae away to the kitchen.

"So how do you know him anyway?" He asks once they're in there, heading to the refrigerator for the ingredients that they're going to be using.

"Namjoon-hyung?" Taehyung asks, because who else would they be speaking about? He's not sure about V's "he's in love with you" to Joon earlier, but the younger's crush and adoration for RM is as indisputable as it is endearing. "He's... an old friend. I've known him for years," he answers, hopping onto the counter. "Tell me the story of how you two started talking?"

Jeongguk barely looks up from where he's washing vegetables. "What? No. You know it's embarrassing."

"It's cute," he corrects. Or at least it is to Vantae, who'd urged Taehyung to ask his bunny about it after he'd inquired about how the trainee and rapper became friends in the first place. "And sweet. Just like you."

Seokjin enters the kitchen just in time to catch that. He groans. "And I'm bilious and repulsed," he mutters, grabbing two drinks from the fridge before swiftly making his leave. "Just like Yoongi," he calls over his shoulder.
