"Everything okay?" Yoongi is leveling him an amused look from where he sits across from Taehyung in the restaurant.
"Hmm?" He glances up from his phone, belatedly registering the fact that he just huffed out loud. He waves his hand dismissively. "Oh, yeah, it's just one of my friends being stupid. Don't worry about it," he easily reassures him.
The elder's eyebrows slightly arch at that. "One of the friends that I'm about to meet?"
"Yes," he replies carefully, "but you'll love him, I promise, even if he is an idiot." Taehyung fondly shakes his head as he thinks about his Hoseokie-hyung. "He's one of the main reasons that I'm pretty alright at dancing, actually."
"Pretty alright?" Yoongi scoffs disbelievingly then. "I think you broke Jungkook, Tae," he jokes, referring to how the youngest had blatantly stared in absolute incredulity (and reverence) as he watched V (Tae) move with ease and smoothness like none of them had ever seen him do before in training (even if Taehyung did complain to Yoongi about never wanting to exert himself like that again immediately after).
"Which obviously wasn't my intention," the younger shyly ducks his head, heat rising up his neck as much as he tries to will it not to, "but you'd get it if you ever danced with Hobi-hyung."
"You mean because he's sunshine personified and that fact holds up when his stare burns into your very being when you make a mistake in the choreography?" A cherubic voice laughs from behind them, the sound a tinkling note that instantly brings warmth.
Yoongi turns just in time to see presumably one of Taehyung's friends playfully elbow Jimin (whom he recognizes from V's posts) as he titters too and grumbles a clearly affectionate, "Shut up," and Yoongi feels doubly affected at the sudden onslaught of sunlight.
