It has been about three months since I started at Hogwarts, and the Christmas holiday is approaching. Nothing has really happened in those three months except following classes and getting annoyed by Malfoy his insults. I started to pack all my clothes because I was heading home today for Christmas, while I was packing I heard Krislyn walking to my dorm.

"Are you almost ready to leave Rose?"

"Yeah, I'll be right there!"

"Here, I'll help you."

Kris proceeds to help me pack so we could head out as fast as possible.

"I caught Malfoy staring at you at breakfast today.. is something going on between you two?"

"No, nothing at all... He just has been annoying me for the past three months."

"Classic Malfoy... you can always call on me, you know that right?"

"Yes, of course, I know."

She hugs me tightly as we were done packing our stuff. As I walk out of my dorm room I notice everyone has already left. I rushed to the entrance of Hogwarts with Kris due to being belated.

We enter the Hogwarts Express back to London and walk to our compartment. We sit down as Pansy and Draco are sitting next to each other chatting about something. They are laughing at every joke they make and grinning while talking. I roll my eyes as the train starts to move.

Once we arrived at King Cross Station I started to sprint to my mother as she stood there smiling at us. I gave her a warm hug and she hugged me back tightly.

"I've missed u Mom."

Mother giggled as she speaks.

"I missed u too Rose... did you have a great time in your first semester at Hogwarts?"

"I did! I even made friends..."

I never really had any friends next to my sister Krislyn. I was pretty known for being a loner at my old school.

"I'm glad u did, let's go home.", mother said while smiling at us.

When we arrived home, I went to see my dad. When I walked into the living room I saw him reading the newspaper while drinking a beer. I was surprised, father never drank any alcohol... I ignored it as I gave him a tight hug. He smiled while he hugs me back.

"There's my little girl! I've missed you so much."

I knew he didn't even miss me, he never did. He likely was even relieved to see me go to Hogwarts so he and mother could be alone. He never liked to have any children next to Krislyn. She was always his favorite... but I still had my mother.

"We are going to visit the Malfoy Manor this Christmas, they are hosting a Christmas dinner and we got invited."

Seriously? I had to see Malfoy every day in the week at Hogwarts... now even at his own house?

"Do we have to go? I could stay home, right?" I quickly spoke.

"Be respectful Rose.. we are not staying there for long. It's just one evening."

I sighed as I roll my eyes. I don't want to see him, Malfoy is bothersome and nosey.

"Fine.. but we won't stay there for long right?"

"No, of course not darling."

I nod as I start heading up to my room.
