Peter POV

As soon as I drifted off to sleep, I remembered exactly why I had avoided sleeping. The Johnstons stood in front of me, screaming.

"STUPID BOY!" I just sat there. Running away did nothing, everyone just followed me. So I just let it happen. I couldn't do anything about it. I let the Johnstons yell at me. I let them tell me I'm worthless, a waste of space, unimportant, etcetera etcetera.

"I should never have adopted Peter. He's so useless." I knew it was a dream, but those words hurt. I knew my dad would never say that, but I couldn't help but believe them.

"Stupid kid can't even save one person. He blames me, but we all know he just isn't strong enough." I hear Captain Rogers say. I feel the tears start falling.

"You see, Peter. You're just a burden. You aren't a good person. You allowed us to die." It was my biological family that now spoke. In the distance, I saw MJ and Ned happily talking to Wade. They saw me and sent me a glare strong enough that I fell backward.

"Oh look, it's stupid little Spiderman. Too weak to save one person." I looked up and saw Brianna, the girl I didn't save. Her eyes were haunted and she was covered in blood.

"B-Brianna?" I whispered. Her eyes darkened.

"What does it matter to you? You didn't save me. I'm dead because of you." She says.

"I'm sorry. You're right. It's all my fault." I said and hung my head.

"Peter Peter Peter. When will you learn? You bring bad luck. No one wants you." Uncle Ben was there now.

"I'm sorry. I should have tried harder." I said softly.

"Oh, Peter. I can't believe you didn't even try to save me." Aunt May said.

"PETER! HELP!" I looked up. Aunt May and Uncle Ben were gone. Ms. Nat was screaming. She was about to fall off a cliff.

"MOM! NO!" I shouted. I raced over and tried to shoot a web, but as usual, nothing came out.

"PETER!" She screamed again.

"PETER, HELP ME!" Someone shouted from behind me. I looked behind me. It was Dad. He was in the same situation as Ms. Nat. I knew I would be able to save one of them, but I had to pick.

"STOP! DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!" I screamed.

"PETER, HELP, I'M SLIPPING!" They both shouted. I couldn't choose.

"WORTHLESS! YOU CAN'T EVEN SAVE ONE PERSON!" Uncle Ben shouted from behind me.

"PETER!" They screamed as they both fell. Suddenly it was just me and Dad.

"Dad?" I whispered.

"Hey, Bambi." He said in a mocking tone. I flinched. The names I had grown to love, the ones that made me smile, he now said in such a venomous tone.

"Dad, p-please, st-stop." I cried.

"P-please, st-stop." He mocked. I just cried.

"Oh, Bambino, you're hopeless. Useless. No one wants you, Parker. Why would they?" He asked.

"They love me," I whispered.

"No one loves you, Tesoro. You're unlovable." He said, sneering at me. I didn't say anything.

"You deserve this. You kill everyone. You're a plague, a plague of death." There were bodies surrounding me. I stood up and looked around. Everyone I loved was dead. Suddenly they all spoke as one.
