Peter POV
I groan as I slowly open my eyes, the pounding in my head disappearing.
"Good afternoon, Peter. How are you feeling?" FRIDAY's voice asks quietly.
"Hey, Fri. I'm feeling better, thanks." I say.
"I'm very glad to hear that. Your friends are here, would you like me to send them up?"
"Yes, please, Fri. Thanks."
"You're most welcome. They are on their way."
Then my door opens.
"PETER!" Ned shouts. I flinch and cover my ears.
"Oh, sorry, dude. My bad." He apologizes.
"You're all good. I'm just still a bit sensitive." I say.
"How are you doing, Petey?" Wade asks.
"I feel like crap, guys. Now my secret is out, the whole school knows, and soon, the whole world will know too." I sigh. "I just wish I could catch a break."
*Wade turns and looks directly into Kari's soul.*
"Do you hear that? Stop. Making. Peter. Suffer." He says.
W: Oh my god. Can we stop with the whole 'He says' nonsense for now? It's just the two of us, Kari. Well, I guess the readers are here too.
*Turns and looks at all of you. And waves*
W: Hi!
*Turns back to me*
W: Now. Stop hurting Peter. Resolve this however you're gonna resolve it, and then leave Peter alone.
K: That's the thing, Wade. I don't know how to resolve it. I'm not sure where to even take the story. I don't want to abandon it, but I have no idea what to write. Besides, I'm so busy with college and everything. I barely have time anymore.
W: Oh. Well. We'll always be here. Take as much time as you need. All of us will support you. And we'll be here when you're able to return.
K: Thanks, Wade. I appreciate it. I hope the readers understand too.
W: I'm sure they will. If not...I'll make them. *Grins evilly*
K: No. No unaliving. Not any of my readers.
W: Fine. *Dramatic sigh* Lame.
K: Alright, get back to your boyfriend. I've gotta make an announcement.
W: Okay. But first, hey, Kari?
K: Yeah?
W: Take care of yourself, okay? Don't make writing and updating something stressful. Take as much time as you need, even if that's until summer. Ort even later. Just, take care of yourself. You deserve it.
K: Thanks, Wade. I needed to hear that.
W: We all love you, Kari. Enjoy college!
K: Ha ha...I'll try.
Hey guys! So. In case any of you didn't understand, that was my "creative" way of saying that this book is going on an official hiatus of sorts. I am SO swamped with school (I have 1-3 hours of homework for my Spanish class alone...not to mention the rest of my classes) and I'm also working. This is my way of not having to stress about "I need to update, it's been literally forever." I really hope you understand. I may post an update here or there...but I make no promises.
Also, if you guys have any ideas, PLEASE let me know. I'm drawing blanks with all of my stories.
