The car ride back was silent. Mr. Tony kept looking over at me every now and then, but I pretended not to notice.
We finally pulled up to the tower and Mr. Tony looked at me again.
"I told FRIDAY to have a room set up for you. You can go do your homework there if you'd like." He tells me.
"Thank you, Mr. Tony!" I said. My own room. Just for me. I haven't had one of those since Aunt May died.
I shook off those thoughts. I didn't need to focus on that now.
"Oh, what pizza do you like?" He asked me.
"Pepperoni, why?" I say.
"We're having pizza for dinner and I want to know what to get everyone."
"Okay," I said.
"I'll be in either my lab or the sitting room if you need me. Okay?" Mr. Tony asked and I nodded. He gently ruffled my hair before heading off.
"FRIDAY, could you tell me where my room is?" I asked.
"Of course, Peter. First head to the elevator." She answered. I got in and was taken to the residential floors. I walked down the hallways and reached another elevator.
"This is a private elevator. It is the only one that can access the Penthouse." FRIDAY informed me.
"Woah, I get a room in the Penthouse? That's so cool!" I said as the elevator moved.
When I finally got to my room and opened the door, I was shocked. It was massive. I could fit like 5 of my old apartments in here. There was a large desk on the wall next to the door. A brand new Stark Computer sat on the desk next to a cup full of brand new pencils, highlighters, and pens. A Stark Phone sat on top of the computer.
On the right wall stood a dresser and a closet. I didn't have very many clothes to fill it though.
The bed was amazing. It was a Queen size and situated in the far left corner. There were at least 5 different pillows and blankets. A hammock, which was obviously designed to also be a bed, hung in the opposite corner of the room.
Between the two bed options, was s door leading to the en suite. It was a nice-sized bathroom. A shower on the back wall. A sink, toilet, and bathtub were inside the room as well.
I sat down at the desk and moved the phone aside. I'd deal with it after homework. I opened my old, cracked phone and pulled up Spotify. I turned on my focus music playlist. Then I opened the new computer. I quickly opened a blank document and started to write my essay for English.
A few hours later, I had a pretty good outline for my essay done.
"Peter, Boss would like me to inform you that dinner is ready. I will give you directions to the kitchen." FRIDAY told me.
"Oh, thanks FRIDAY!" I say and hop up. She leads me through the maze that is the tower and to the kitchen.
"Hey, Pete!" Mr. Tony said when he saw me.
"Hey, Mr. Tony!" I responded.
"Pizza's in the kitchen. We're going to have a movie night if you want to join." Mr. Tony tells me.
"Sounds fun. I'll be right out." I say, heading to the kitchen. I only grab two slices of pizza to start so I don't raise any suspicion and then head out.
"Alright, Peter's here. Can I start the movie now?" Dr. Banner asks from his seat.
"I still don't see why I couldn't pick the movie." Mr. Barton grumbled.
