My boyfriend of 7 months and I were at a party with a bunch of the boys. I could feel Jack's arm secure around my waist as we made our way through the crowd of people all clustered throughout the house. Cameron was hosting at it seemed as if everyone in LA had decided to show up.
"There are a lot of girls here tonight" Jack leaned over and whispered in my ear.
I laughed and playfully whacked his shoulder, "and why are you telling me this?!"
"Because I want you to know that they all can't even come close as to how perfect you are" he placed a soft kiss on my forehead and my face flushed at how cute he was being. I loved Jack so much. I couldn't picture myself with anyone different.
"Sup Y/N!" I heard a voice around me shout and I turned to see Matt coming over to us.
I laughed, "hey Mattie, what's up man?" I high fives him after he and Jack had done their "bro" thing.
"Just enjoying the party! Everyone is here!" He yelled over the loud music.
I chuckled, "tell me about it! It's a miracle if I don't get lost in Cam's house. Everyone is everywhere!"
Jack whispered, "I won't let that happen baby girl"
I smiled and gave him a squeeze, "thanks handsome"
I looked at Matt and Jack, "now let's go mingle!" I shouted and took their hands and lead them out into the thick crowd. I was walking towards a group of my friends when I ran straight into someone.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry" I looked up into shinning blue eyes and an extremely handsome face.
"No worries, glad I could run into someone like you" the stranger smirked at me and I blushed at the complement. "I'm Dylan" he stuck out his hand for me to shake.
"I'm Y/N!" I shook his hand and chuckled.
Dylan and I had been talking for a while and I was laughing at something he said when I felt a strong hand on my shoulder.
"Hey babe. Who's this?" Jack shot a glare over at Dylan.
"Oh! This is Dylan! I just met him."
Dylan cast a nod over at Jack, "hey man"
"Yeah whatever" Jack said blowing him off, "Y/N I think we should go" Jack wrapped an arm around my waist and began to pull me away.
"Jack, it's fine, I'll be here talking! You go do your thing!" I smiled reassuringly at him.
"Look, Y/N lets just leave"
"Hey dude, she can stay with me if she wants" Dylan grabbed my hand and I could feel Jack tense up.
"Don't touch her" he growled.
Dylan held his right hand up but kept his grip on my other hand. "Look, it's her choice. Lay off buddy" he came closer to Jack.
I knew what was going to happen before it even did, but before I could stop it I saw Jacks fist crash into Dylan's jaw.
"Jack!" I screamed and tried to run to him to keep him from hitting Dylan another time but I felt a pair of arms hold me back.
"Whoa there Y/N, let them go." nate was holding me back and stopping me from running to Jack.
The two boys continued to go at it and just as Jack was about to make another direct connection to Dylan's stomach i wiggled out of Nate's grasp and fell on top of Jack, stopping him from doing anymore damage.

"You're a dumbass" I was cleaning jacks face free of blood in my bathroom at my house. I had changed into sweats and one of Jack's hoodies as soon as we left the party.
Jack groaned in pain, "y/n, oww" he flinched under my touch.
"Suck it up tough guy. Obviously you needed to prove you were one tonight right?!" I was mad. Dylan had done nothing, yet Jack and created a giant and unnecessary scene for no reason.
"Look! y/n! You don't get it!" Jack raised his voice a bit.
"What don't I get Jack?!" I snapped.
Jack knocked away my hand from his face and grabbed both of mine in his. "You were laughing with him. You were too close. He was too close. Your mine Y/N and if I end up loosing you to someone like h-"
I cut Jack off my pushing my lips on his. They moved together in perfect harmony. I broke away.
"Baby. I love you more than you know. And I hate to break it to you, but your kinda stuck with me. I'm not going anywhere" I smiled.
"Good. Cause I won't let you" Jack chuckled and lightly kissed my lips.
