I laid in bed with my boyfriend of a few years, Jack Gilinsky. We had both just woken up and didn't want to get out of bed yet, so we settled on watching tv in bed.
All was well until I felt the sudden, familiar feeling of nausea. I leapt out of bed and ran into the adjacent bathroom, just making it so my face was in the open toilet. Jack was right behind me to hold my hair and rub my back as I got sick.
Once I felt better, I stood up and brushed my teeth, Jack still watching my every movement. He lead me back to bed. "I'm gonna get you some crackers and make some tea." He said softly as he headed into the kitchen.
I laid in bed rubbing my slightly swollen stomach. It still hasn't kicked in that I was pregnant, but I was so excited to start a family with Jack. He was a wonderful boyfriend and I knew he'd make an ever more wonderful father.
Jack returned back to our bedroom holding a cup of tea and a box of crackers, carefully placing them on my night stand and crawling back into bed with me.
As I sipped my tea, Jack placed a hand on my stomach. Ever since we found out I was pregnant he liked to rub and talk to my stomach.
"You know Y/N I think it's about time we start telling people, first your parents then mine. You're almost 4 months now and won't be able to hide it for much longer." Jack said reasonably.
"Ugh do I have too? It's so weird telling them. To my parents I'm still some innocent kid, now I'm actually gonna have one!" I whined. Truth was I was so nervous to tell my parents, I didn't know how they'd react. It's not like Jack and I were married or even engaged, but they loved Jack and they loved me so I prayed everything would turn out okay.
"You know I'll be with you every step of the way, we'll tell your parents together." Jack said sweetly.
"Okay as long as your by my side everything will be okay." I said as Jack kissed my forehead.
"You're right, everything will be okay." he said as he slithered under the covers and kissed my stomach.
"We might as well tell my parents today and yours tomorrow, I wanna get this over with asap!" I said.
Jack popped his head from under the covers "That sounds like a great idea, let's do this!" he said with the biggest grin on his face.
