"It is, but with physical therapy and rest he will get better," I smiled sadly. She reached out across the table to take my hand.

Clarissa happily colored on the paper placemat with the crayons that were on our table. Taking advantage of her distracted state, I raised Tabitha's hand to my lips and kissed it.

"I'm still here and Grownups are still gross," Clarissa groaned without looking up and kept coloring.

"Do you feel left out?" Tabitha teased, and I knew she was talking about our Clarissa sandwich this morning.

Clarissa's eyes grew wide in realization. "No, you guys can kiss all you want, leave me out of it!" she replied, earning a laugh from both of us.

"So what's the plan for today?" Tabitha asked as the food arrived. She gave Renee a sweet thank you and began cutting up Clarissa's pancakes as she skated away.

"Well, I thought we could look at shops around town, I want Clarissa to pick out a color for her walls, and some decor for her room. I want you to pick up some things to make our room feel more like yours as well, wife," I smiled. "I was also wanting to give you both a chance to buy some new clothes and drop by the bookstore."

"Are you sure? That's alot, I don't want you to have to spend so much on me, give Clarissa the world if you want to, but don't worry about me," she smiled.

"We're married now, which means my money is yours, love. If I want to take my two favorite girls for a shopping spree, let me," I smiled.

     "Alright," she smiled a little.

As we finished eating, we made our way to the counter to pay our bill. I looked up at Tabitha and she was looking outside the window worriedly. She shook her head and looked again, and calmed down visibly. I looked outside and didn't see a thing.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, squeezing her hand reassuringly.

"I am now," she smiled as we left the diner. Something was bothering her, I could tell. I just didn't know how to help with it.

We left the diner and walked two stores down to a place called "Bags of Fun". When we walked in, all of the walls and racks in the store displayed different kinds of purses, handbags and backpacks.

"Now no worrying about prices I want you each to pick out at least two," I smiled. Clarissa looked ecstatic, as did Tabitha, although she tried to restrain herself. Clarissa instantly ran to a small Loungefly branded back pack that had a Beauty and the Beast design on it.

"Look Alex!" she yelled excitedly. Tabitha moved around looking at the racks until she settled on a black totebag set. At the center of the front it had a metal silver winged Triforce on it. It also  came with a matching wallet, a smaller clutch bag, a makeup bag, and a lunchbox, all of which had the same design.

Clarissa had started looking over by the larger backpacks and I know she was thinking of school. She perused the racks until she settled on a bag with tons of pockets and a pink and purple galaxy print. After some prodding, Tabitha settled on a backpack as well.

Next it was time to go pick out some paint.
