Eleanor pushed the doors to Bruce Wayne's manor open, surprised that she was greeted by loud music and a motorbike engine revving and moving throughout the house. Someone was riding a bike through the manor. Who the fuck? Eleanor thought to herself.

She shut the doors behind her and walked across the dark marble floor, making her way towards the sound of something crashing.

'That was sick!' A voice hollered after the engine cut out on the bike. Down the bottom of the staircase was a familiar face, grinning widely down at the helmet in his hands.

'Jason?' She asked in confusion.

He spun around and looked up at her.

'Yeah. Hey, you're Dick's girlfriend— Uh, Elizabeth,' he said and pointed at her, his smile growing wider and wider.

'I'm not his girlfriend, and it's Eleanor,' she corrected him with a grain of salt to her tone.

'What are you doing here? And how did you get in here?' He asked, resting the helmet on his hip.

'I'm here to see the guy you work for. You know, the man in the spandex suits?' She asked and shrugged, watching as he rolled his eyes at her description of Bruce.

'I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Did Dick send you to spy on me? Did he tell you anything?' He asked as he moved up the steps towards her slowly.

Eleanor couldn't help the small laugh that escaped her lips. 'Relax kid, I'm also a friend of Bruce,' she told him.

'What kind of friend?'

'The kind of friend that knows you've been taking the batmobile out for joy rides as of late.'

Jason shook his head with a small laugh. 'Right,' he muttered, his cheeks turning red for being busted.

'Where's your dad, Jason?' Eleanor asked as he finally made it to the top of the stairs.

'Halfway across the world right now with the rest of the Justice League, Alfred too. Got this place all to myself,' he said, raising his voice to let it echo through the building.

'Clearly,' she said with a hum and looked around him and at the discarded motorbike.

'Listen whatever you need Bruce for, you can come to me for help,' he said and winked, causing her to pull a face.

'First of all, ew,' she muttered and pointed at him. Jason sighed and looked down. 'Second of all, I doubt you can help me. Will you just let Bruce know that I stopped by?'

'And where will you be going?' He asked, following after her as she turned around to walk back the way she came in. She stopped and looked at him. 'Well I know you're from Detroit and I doubt you're gonna' leave Gotham, not until you speak to Bruce at least. Why don't you stay for dinner?' He asked, his hands fumbling with the helmet.

Eleanor laughed and nodded. Come to think of it, she was pretty hungry.

'Alright, fine, but only 'cause you're such a smooth talker kid.'

Jason grinned widely and tossed the helmet down the stairs, exclaiming, 'I'll go get it started!'

Listening to Jason talk for two hours about certain missions and how cool it was to be the new Robin had Eleanor on the verge of tears, and not in a good way. She just wanted to get some sleep, but he seemed way too happy to be finally talking to someone, about literally everything, so she let him go on and on to the point she had to tell him to take a breath.
