Chris let out a groan, "love, your parents will be here any minute." He found himself unable to control the moans as she rubbed his now desperate cock through his jeans as they stood in the kitchen.
She giggled, "but they aren't here yet. It's my birthday. I want you."
He didn't have time to respond as he felt her undoing his jeans, pulling his cock from his pants, "Ais." He only heard more giggles as she dropped to her knees, taking him urgently into her mouth. "Oh fuck." He gripped onto her long braid, pushing her further onto his cock, being met with her moans as he did. He heard a knock on the door just as he approached his orgasm, groaning as she started to pull away. "No. We're finishing." He commanded as she giggled, the vibrations sending him over the edge as he spurted his cum into her mouth with a loud grunt. He watched her smirk as she stood up, "fucking insatiable. Mouthwash, go. I'll answer the door." He quickly adjusted himself in his pants as he made his way to the front door.
Chris opened the door to find Patrick and Elizabeth waiting, "hello! I'm so glad you guys are here." He kissed Elizabeth on the cheek as he took their bags. "Aisling will be down in a minute."
Patrick smiled, "I have something for you."
He hesitated, but nodded as he heard Aisling approaching them.
"Mum! Dad! I missed you guys."
"Happy Birthday love."
He left them for their reunion as he took the bags to a spare bedroom they had set up for them during their stay. As he started to leave the room he noticed Patrick follow him in, shutting the door behind him. "What's up?"
Patrick pulled something out of his pocket, handing it to Chris. "Look, I know you aren't there yet, but I know you will be."
Chris nodded, looking at the box in his hand, opening it to find a simple solitaire gold engagement with a round emerald along with a plain gold wedding band.
"It was her grandmother's. You can buy your own if you want, I know she'd want it."
He closed the box, looking back at him, "she would. Thank you. But like you said, I'm not sure we're ready yet." He tried to hand it back but Patrick pushed it away.
"I know you aren't. But you will be, yeah?" He sighed, "I know you haven't been together that long, but I know how much you guys care about each other. So I wanted to make sure you knew that when you guys decide you are ready, you have our blessing."
Chris nodded, "thank you. We have discussed it and decided we aren't ready yet. But it's something we both want, and I have every intention of proposing at some point. It means a lot to me that I have your blessing. I love your daughter very much."
Patrick smiled and nodded, "I know you do." He picked up his bag, setting it on the bed. He opened it, pulling out another box. "I also have this that you requested."
Chris put the ring box in his pocket as he accepted the second box from him. He opened it up, looking at the gift, "it's perfect. Thank you for your help. I thought it would be better for you to get it made over there than me getting someone to do it here. She'll love it."
Patrick nodded, squeezing Chris's shoulder, "she will. I was happy to help."

"So how are you love?"
Aisling sat with her parents, alone in the dining room as Chris's family began to arrive for her birthday. She sighed, "I'm fine."
Patrick chuckled, "only fine? Something wrong with you and Chris?"
"No!" She shook her head, "he's perfect. His sister doesn't like me and I try not to let it bother me, but it does. I know how much his family means to him."
Elizabeth rested her hand on Aisling's, "is there a reason she doesn't like you?"
"No." Aisling pulled her hand away. "I was on my best behavior when I met them. But Chris and I had only known each other for a few weeks by the time I met them. So they made wrong assumptions. It's been rocky since." She sighed, resting her head on her hands on the table.
Patrick sighed, "I'm sure they'll come around love."
Aisling sighed, hearing people arrive, "come on. You should meet his mom." She saw them nod as they followed her into the living room where Chris and his family were.
Chris watched her walk into the room, seeing she was upset about something. Once she was next to him he placed his hand on her back, leaning to her ear, "are you okay love?"
She half smiled and nodded, "it's fine Chris." She motioned to his sisters, introducing them to her parents before motioning to his brother, "this is Chris's brother Scott."
Scott smiled, shaking both their hands, "great to meet you. Your daughter is amazing."
Aisling laughed, blushing slightly, "they know Scot." She smiled as everyone laughed and her mother rolled her eyes. She motioned to Lisa next, "this is Chris's mom, Lisa. Lisa, these are my parents. Patrick and Elizabeth." She left them alone as she felt Chris pull her away into the kitchen.
"What's the matter?"
She shrugged, "what do you mean?"
Chris chuckled, pressing her back against the counter, resting his hands on the counter on either side of her. "Your eyes are built-in emotion detectors love. I can tell when you're upset about something."
She shook her head, resting her hands on the band of his jeans, "it's really nothing. I appreciate you worrying though. I love you. And for the record, yours are too."
He nodded, knowing he could never force her to talk about anything, "okay. Well," he grabbed her hand, turning towards the counter. "I know cake is normal, but I know you like pie better, so I got you apple pie for your birthday and cupcakes for everyone else."
She laughed as she opened some bakery boxes on the counter, "thank you Chris. It's perfect."
Chris nodded again, "you are perfect. Come on." He led her back to the living room with everyone else, making her sit on the couch. Chris sat on the coffee table across from her, handing him a small flat, square box. "Happy Birthday."
She looked from the box and up to Chris as he nodded his encouragement. She opened the box to find a silver claddagh Celtic knot bracelet, "Chris! It's beautiful!"
"I had your dad's help. I called him and told him what I wanted and we had it made for you in Ireland." He grabbed the bracelet, showing her the engraving on the inside.
Aisling looked on the inside to just see one word; Everglow. Her eyes were already overrun with tears as Chris placed it on her wrist, "thank you." She leaned towards him, pulling his face to hers. "You're amazing."
Chris nodded, "well you learned how to play the piano for me. And I kind of ruined it all. I wanted to make sure you knew how loved and appreciated you are."
"You learned to play piano?"
Aisling chuckled, looking up at her father, "yeah. Just one song."
He smiled, "your grandmother would be so happy."
She nodded, looking back at Chris to see him smiling, "she would."
