"How are you feeling?" Tara's voice brought Aisling's attention back to the present as she sat getting her hair done.

"I'm great. How's Chris?" Aisling replied, curious about her soon-to-be husband's state.

Tara chuckled. "He's up and about. Sober, thankfully. He's with Scott and Sebastian."

Aisling nodded, letting out a sigh of relief. "That's good to know. I was a bit worried about how late they might have been out last night."

Tara laughed. "Don't worry, they weren't out too late."

Elizabeth, Aisling's mother, entered the room, joining the conversation. "Your father made sure to keep an eye on them."

Aisling chuckled. "I can definitely believe that."

Tara stepped away briefly as there was a knock at the door. She returned with Sebastian, who had brought orange juice and champagne.

"Seb, you're a lifesaver," Aisling said with a smile as he handed over the bottles.

Sebastian hugged Aisling, planting a kiss on her cheek before pulling away. "I'm so glad I could be here for you."

Aisling smiled warmly at him. "It means a lot, Seb. How's Chris?"

Sebastian settled in, sitting on the floor in front of her. "Worried he might have cold feet?" Aisling shrugged in response, a mix of nerves and excitement in her expression. Sebastian raised an eyebrow playfully. "Trust me, his feet are warm. He's just as eager as you are. He'll be there, waiting with a big smile, and likely a tear or two. You know how emotional he gets."

Aisling laughed, her forehead gently resting against Sebastian's. "Thanks for the reassurance. I love you, Seb."

Sebastian nodded, mirroring her affectionate gesture. "Of course, Aisling. I love you too." The bond between friends was palpable as they shared a moment of support and understanding before the big moment.

Aisling found her father waiting just outside the iron gate of the garden. "Daddy."

He turned around, a proud smile on his face. "You look beautiful, love." He took her hand, his presence offering a reassuring anchor. "Are you ready?"

She nodded with determination. "I've been ready."

He chuckled in response, a mix of fatherly affection and amusement. As he opened the gate, he extended his arm for her to take. "Well, let's go then."

She sighed contentedly, linking her arm with his, and they began to walk along the path. Aisling's heart raced as Chris came into view, looking handsome in his suit. She could hardly contain a soft, appreciative sound at the sight of him. Chris turned around, a radiant smile on his face as he watched her approach. His eyes glistened with emotion, and Aisling had to hold back a small whimper at the intense connection between them. Her father placed a loving kiss on her cheek as he stood beside Chris, handing her over to him.

"You, baby. Don't make me cry," she whispered as she placed both hands in his.

Chris chuckled softly. "Sorry. You look beautiful."

The ceremony proceeded, and the moment for exchanging rings arrived. Aisling glanced down at her hand, her heart skipping a beat as she saw the new wedding band beside her grandmother's engagement ring. The gold band was adorned with delicate diamonds and emeralds, a perfect complement to the cherished family heirloom. She met Chris's eyes and mouthed a silent "thank you," receiving a subtle smile and nod in return.

The officiant's voice resonated, bringing them to the pivotal moment. 'You may now kiss the bride.'

Chris's smile grew even wider. "Come here."

Aisling giggled softly, her heart racing as she felt his arms encircle her waist. With a tender urgency, he pulled her closer, their lips meeting in a kiss that spoke of promises, love, and a journey they were now embarking on together. The intimate connection felt electric, and she couldn't help a soft moan as his tongue teasingly brushed against hers. As the kiss deepened, a rush of emotions surged within her, filling the moment with a profound sense of unity and joy.

"Are you ready for our first dance?" Chris asked, extending his hand to her.

She nodded, a warm smile on her face as she took his hand. "I don't know the song you chose."

He chuckled softly. "Don't worry, just follow my lead."

Her hands found their place around his neck, and she felt his hands settle gently on her back as they moved to the center of the dance floor.

"You look stunning, Aisling."

A small blush tinted her cheeks, but she met his gaze with affection. "And you clean up pretty nicely yourself." Her playful comment earned a laugh from him just as the song 'Side By Side' by Workday release began to play.

🎵 Forever I'm yours now
Forever you're mine
Let's spend forever side by side
Forever together starting tonight🎵

Chris whispered into her ear, the sentiment filling her heart with warmth. "Forever together, starting tonight."

She responded with a soft nod, her eyes reflecting the happiness and contentment she felt. "It's perfect. How do you feel now that we're married and can start thinking about making babies?"

He grinned, his excitement evident in his response. "Are you kidding, absolutely! I'm all in."

She laughed, delighted by his enthusiasm. "Good. Just so you know, I stopped taking my birth control last month."

His smile widened, and he couldn't hide his joy. "Seriously? I love you so much. Can we start now? Maybe find a quiet spot nearby?"

Teasingly, she playfully hit him on the chest. "Stop it. We can start tonight. And I love you too."

He pretended to pout. "Fine, I'll contain my excitement for a few more hours."

*7 years later *

Aisling woke up to the bed shaking, Dodger excitedly licking her face. She groaned, sitting up as she pushed Dodger off the bed, hearing the joyful sound of small footsteps approaching. Her little boy with ginger hair and her darker-haired daughter burst into the room, followed closely by Chris.

"Conor, Mary, be gentle with mommy's tummy."

She smiled, her heart warming at the sight of her children's excitement as they jumped onto the bed on either side of her, showering her with hugs and kisses.

"Happy Mother's Day, love." Chris leaned down to kiss her on the head before placing a tray of food in front of her. He picked up Mary, sitting beside her on the bed and resting his hand on her stomach. "And how's the littlest one?"

She chuckled, placing her hand over his. "Little Robbie is hungry." She looked at the pancakes on the tray, noticing their unique shapes, and then glanced at Conor. "Did you help daddy make breakfast?"

Conor nodded eagerly. "We made you pancakes," he pointed to the plate, "and coffee."

She pulled him into a side hug. "Thank you, buddy." She leaned her head on Chris's shoulder as she savored her breakfast. With a smile, she looked at the spread in front of her. "All of this because I annoyed you on a plane for 7 hours."

Chris chuckled, his eyes filled with warmth. "You never annoyed me for a single moment, love."
