I snuck out on a summer day
Out of my window and into the world
I never looked back
I never wanted to
I successfully escaped my old life
A clean slate in a new place
A smile on my face
A racing heart
This is my favorite place to sneak to
No consequences would make me regret this
I hope my parents don't find out
All the things I've done they'd despise
But they can't catch me
And I won't go back
I'm never going back.
