Can You Trust Me?

Would you think of me differently if I told you I cheated on the last guy?

Would you trust me if I said I wouldn't do it to you?

What if I said I wasn't in a great state of mind?

Would it be his fault then?

What about if you knew I was sober the second time?

Would you still be mad at him instead?

Would you question my loyalty then?

What about the rest of my corpse-filled closet?

Would you leave?

What if I told you I enjoyed having control over the other guys who fell for me?

What if I told you it was hard for me to let go of them?

Would you see me as everyone else does?

Would you see me like a whore?

A slut?

Heartless?

You'd be right.
