Readers pov:

I hadn't opened my eyes yet, but I could hear a beeping noise. It was drilling into my brain.

I fluttered my eyes open, slowly revealing the light coming into the room. White walls. The beeping.

I turned my head to see Kita in a bed right next to me. I swallowed and reached for his hand and held it tightly. When I did, he fluttered his eyes open like I did. And when he saw me, his eyes widened.

He slowly got up, and staggered over to my bed, lay down and held me close. "I-I missed you.." he whispered. I held him tightly back. "I missed you too. I'm sorry I left...." I whispered back to him.

"Don't apologize! That bastard Suna took you... he stole you away from me.. he was the one who kidnapped you and I couldn't do anything about it.." he cried.

What? I was the one who kidnapped him...

"H-how do you know all this?" I asked worriedly.

"That's what Suna confessed to doing. The police came in earlier today while I was awake, I worked with them on this case. He's going on trial for his actions on Friday, we have to be there too. I hope you're okay with that. I have to go to another case next week regarding other 3 deaths in the woods on my way to get you."

A tear fell from my eye as a held Kita close. Suna would be going to jail, for something that I completely did?

"Who's deaths?" I asked, not really wanting to know. "Kuroo Tetsuro, Kenma Kozume and Bf/n Kozume. I don't know what happened, but we found the girl dead next to a cliff, she must've jumped. The two boys went insane and killed eachother, I couldn't help them, so I left."

I felt a shiver down my spine. I couldn't let anyone know what really happened to her. If they thought about it, they could link her death to our location. But I didnt even know where our location was after Suna drugged me.

"Anyway...where did you find us?" I asked brushing Kita's hair. "In an abandoned house way further than Aran had said. Remember meeting him? He gave us an address but when I got there, no one was there. I kept looking though and found a house, so i decided to look for you in there."

He stroked my face and kissed me lightly. It gave my butterflies. "That's where I found you."

I was speechless. He had gone through hell to find me, and I was about to lie to almost everyone on the face of the earth.

"I'm sorry Kita..I was the one who-" He cut me off with a kiss. I didn't want to be a liar, I didn't want to lie to the man who saved me. But I didn't wanna go to jail, I didn't wanna rot in there and let Kita's efforts go to waste...
