S2 5 Get In Line

I stood there looking at tanjiro and the demon go hand to hand, tanjiro was holding his own and for a semi experienced young adult like him he kept up rather well. He then stopped when he was thrown and I stopped attacking on my end. " tanjiro!" I tched and then ran past her since I ended up behind her from fighting using one of my techniques I previously used on rui I cut her cheek and making her growl.

" how dare you— HOW DARE YOU!"

It healed right away and I blocked off attack after attack. Tanjiro needed a moment to breathe so I did my best.

" don't go so hard! Especially using the damn- flame— dance whatever the fuck-"

I then stopped when I felt the earth shake again. God what the hell are they doing.. I looked for a second and that's all she needed to come after me. I felt tanjiro grab me and we went in the air

" (y/n) we need to figure out a way to kill her as a team.. the opportunity is there I'm just not fast enough- "

I hummed and nodded and helped him land and deflect.

" I got you— can you distract her long enough."

Tanjiro just nodded and landed letting me go

" what are you planning uglies-"

She said still annoyed
I smirked and then nodded and then turned invisible

" what!"

She looked around and tanjiro came making her defend herself now I watched and slowly moved holding my breath trying not to blow my cover. But in the end I stopped when I saw something zoom past me.

" what the-"

Then I got hit. It was a sash that flung around her in a defense impulsive manner

" found you!"

I narrowed my eyes and then tanjiro had an opportunity and smirked

" over here!"

I sighed and held my head

Sure enough he got caught and then i went to her making her annoyed and destroy the ground.

" new plan.."

Tanjiro panted and tried fo recover

" (y/n) we need to —"

She didn't give us enough time and I stopped a attack

" he came one night- and all he cared about was YOU! Why! You can't even defeat me! As a hashira you should be putting up a fight."

I stopped

" who? Who talked about me—"

She just growled and attacked harder
After awhile of fighting a sound was heard- someone coming in fast and hard. I looked up and gasped. I grabbed tanjiro and held him close while we watched the obis come to the demon and be absorbed into her face.

" (y/n)! We have to move!"

I panicked and then nodded and we attacked I used my wind to fuel his fire to use one good attack before she could recover herself, but she disappeared.

" what-"

I stood there and looked around.

" I knew it- a hashira finally came.. well besides the ugly one."

I growled and looked up to the voice and saw her hair turn white.

" bastard.."

Tanjiro was rather concerned.

" his lordship will be so pleased!!"

I stood down there and looked up. The smell grew and tanjiro knew it. She was holding back on us.. and it now shows

" tanjiro get out of here and find Uzui.. take Samuel and leave."

" but-"

" don't fight this is gonna be a shit show.."

But suddenly when I said that a angry voice was heard

" HEY! What are you doing!!"

I snapped my head to the sound and saw so many people were around. I looked at them all with wide eyes and stood there

" don't fight infront of my shop!"

I jolted when I felt the demons rage and tanjiro tried to consult the man to go inside and such. But the small twitch of the demon made me act

" MOVE!"

Then suddenly I found myself protecting tanjiro and the man. My eyes widened. She hits so much harder and quicker. I didn't consider the impact and got hit here and there.
When it calmed down I slowly got up

" are you all o—"

I stopped looking around and saw many were killed. I looked to the ones who's body was cut in half, the red blood with the small bits of what was left inside them.. pour out onto the streets from the upper floors. The dripping of their blood rang in the wind into my ears. The screams of the ones injured and still alive echoed and I covered my ears. " AHHHHHH!!!!" I joined the screams and the cuts on me joined the dripping sounds in the wind. I heard pain behind me and saw the man I protected hold a forearm where a hand used to be.... Then the sight of tanjiro stopped me. He got hit? When- how.. then my chest hurt and I coughed and then noticed- she cut through me- getting those two. I held my arm which stayed attached by pure muscle. " shit.." I mumbled and tanjiro held me.

" (y/n)!"

" IM FINE! Watch for the damn demon! Don't touch me!"

Tanjiro looked hurt but nodded and looked around.
I know it's mean. Having him worry for me is the least that needs to happen at the moment. I tied my haori extremely tight to hold it all together. And used my other hand to fight.

" you bastard.."

Tanjiro was rather angry seeing her walk away

" stop I won't let you get away with this! "

Tanjiro stood his ground and when I was done with the bandages to be able to fight I walked up and nodded to tanjiro

" what? Are you still talking? That's enough out of you two uglies... ugly human lives has no value.. you two will get along with the other rotting corpses."

Tanjiro stood there pissed- his heart was heard pounding and I narrowed my eyes. My heart burned.. and burned. Tanjiros rage was well recognized by me. Having human life to be squandered like this... makes all of peoples sacrifices seem spit on. I won't let that happen.

Tanjiro eyes narrowed and the blood vessels behind them popped making the white parts of his eyes bleed red underneath. I held my breathing down and my focus became steady.

" I'll make you take back what you said..."

I warned her before taking a stance.

" this time I won't just cut your cheek.."
