18. Can you help...

I held Zenitsu and listened to his now shallow breathing.
He was still Conscious which is a good sign, his arms were already small, trying to transform into the spiders legs while his legs were deformed.
His last words he said to me were only apologies...

" Zenitsu... hang in there a bit more...help is on its way..."

I said looking down at him in my lap.
He weakly moved his eyes to me and I creased his face.
I watched him close his eyes.

" Zenitsu..."

I shook him.
His breathing was shallowing.

" hey! Zenitsu!"

I said nervously.
I patted his face.

" come on! You can't give up now!"

A few seconds after I said that he slowly opened his eyes looking up.
I noticed he was staring at something, so I looked up as well.
I watched with happiness as shinobu flew down with Samuel behind her.

" hello, (y/n) san..."

I almost started to cry from relief.

" shinobu! Please..."

I held Zenitsu tighter to me.
She looked at him with her smile.

" Are you alright?"

I sighed.

"Shinobu, he's been poison by a demon we fought. The poison will turn him into a spider thing...just like those."

I pointed down.
She walked to the end of the house and looked down to the little spiders.
She nodded and sat on her knees pulling her kit out.

" I see, that's too bad."

I nodded.
Shinobu, she's honestly one of pillars that can stand me, she never complained about my weakness and showed me just as much respect...
So I respect her.
Although... giyuu never lets me hangout with her.
She pulled Zenitsu tiny arm out and prepared to inject the antidote.

" gramps..."

Zenitsu suddenly said.

" did you just call me gramps?"

Shinobu said with her closed eye smile.
I looked at Zenitsu confused.

" gramps was just here... he said to never give up..."

" that was probably your life flashing before your eyes..."

Shinobu said with a giggle.
She injected the antidote and Zenitsu fell asleep.
I looked down at him sadly.
Shinobu looked at me and giggled.

" what?"

"Oh nothing..."

She looked at me and covered her smile.

" what are you thinking!"

She waved me off.

" oh nothing really, it's just Giyuu is here you know."

My eyes widened.

" he's here, in the mountain!?"

She nodded.
I slumped down realizing something.
She got here kinda quick.
They must have been sent here... poor giyuu.
I looked down to Zenitsu then back to shinobu.

" if I leave him here with you, will you take care of him for me?"

She already knew I'd leave and nodded holding out her arms.
I gave him to her and stood up.
Before I jumped off she said.

" I'm happy you're back (y/n), we were extremely worried about you."

I smiled.

" thanks shinobu.."
