Tanjiro walked back and met up with us.

" so, did you defeat it!"

Inosuke said while acting tuff with his wounds bleeding out.

" are you alright, inosuke!"

I said looking at inosuke nervously.
Inosuke growled and pointed at me.

" don't go showering me with your sensitivity and kindness!"

I looked at him and frowned.
Even though I helped him, I still felt bad.
I looked up to the trees remembering the faces of the people that begged me to save them.
My orders were not to intervene in Tanjiros missions, I only get to save him and Nezuko.
I looked back to inosuke.
I saved him, why couldn't I protect them.
While I was thinking I heard a scwa up above.
I looked up and watched Samuel come down and land on me.
My eyes widened.

" things are getting bad up here, we have a new type of mission for you (y/n), Tanjiro showed he's capable of protecting himself, so master requested a new mission for you to protect his children if you come across them."

I smiled happily and said.

" I'm so relieved...."

Samuel looked at me saying.

"What's wrong..."

I looked at him confused.

" why are you asking?"

" you seem... traumatized."

I just stood there looking at Samuel.
I shook him off saying.

" tell master I thank him for my new mission..."

When I turned around I watched Tanjiro try to wrap up inosuke's wounds.
I felt Samuel land back on my shoulder and I turned my head to him.

" Zenitsu entered the mountain as well..."

My eyes widened.

" what'd you say?"

" he's looking for you and Nezuko."

I sighed.
Such a womanizer.
I looked towards Tanjiro and inosuke saying.

" hey, will you two be alright if I left."

They stopped and looked at me confused.
Inosuke got mad and stomped over grabbing my haori.

" eh! Because you saw something scary you're just gonna run away from me with your tail between your legs!? "

I looked at inosuke confused.

" I didn't mean I was leaving, leaving you guys! Zenitsu entered the mountain and I'm just going to watch over him!"

Tanjiro can over and pulled inosuke off.
He then looked at me calmly.

" (y/n), are you not watching over me and Nezuko anymore?"

I giggled when I saw his sad face.

" yes, master sees you two capable enough to protect yourselves."

Tanjiro looked away.
I watched him sigh and grabbed both of my hands.

" I'll miss you, I appreciate your protection very much... it gaves me confidence knowing you were there to guard me."
