Omniscient

Jasmine plays with her dolls in her room quietly. That's how her days have been... quiet. Since her mother had gotten pregnant, there was nothing much to do but listen and eaves drop.

Nothing but problem after problem. While the girl is four, she can tell something is up, but doesn't know the true gravity of the situation. She just hears her mother cry and wail. She no longer goes to her business (Robyn launched a makeup brand around the time Jazmine was approaching a year old), she no longer plays or really interacts with her daughter.

The business woman (who runs a successful business at that), leaves her daughter to her friend Ariana and runs around after men. Rihanna has millions, but still chooses to live in an average suburb with no security. Of course, she intended to move out with her daughter, but the reality is that she is stingy with her money.

She got Jazmine excited over a house for nothing. She promised her daughter a princess room with paneled walls and a queen sized bed. Not just a room with Disney princess bedsheets and stickers in the wall, no. A room fit for a princess, which is what Jazmine was to Robyn until she fell pregnant.

But Jazmine wasn't too upset because her room at her mama's house was definitely princess-y. It's a room that was appropriate for all ages (as long as Jazmine doesn't lose her love for princesses). It looked straight out of Buckingham palace. They painted the ceiling to look like a European church. It was exactly how Jazmine wanted it. The girl insists on keeping her room tidy and upkept well like the princess baba and mama show her everyday as of recently, she is.

That's the problem for Jazmine. Mama and Baba's is a dream for her, but Mom's is like a punishment.

The girl's changing temper is a result of staying up at night, keeping her mother from causing harm to herself, specifically her belly.

Jazmine woke up one night a few weeks ago and saw Robyn crying, bent over the sink, the corner of the sink pressing into her stomach. She went up to her mother and made her move back and rubbed the spot where her future baby brother is currently. Another time that traumatized Jazmine was when Robyn was crying and curled up trying to hug her knees, Jazmine got into the bed with her mother and sat, leaning on her back on her mother's legs and placing a hand over her brother's current location. Another time, Robyn was crying in front of the mirror, saying nasty things and cursing under her breath while staring at her stomach in disgust in the reflection. Jazmine quickly put both hands on the sides of her stomach and whispered to her brother, reassuring him that their mother doesn't mean what she's saying.

Sometimes Jazmine doesn't want to leave her mother's side out of fear she can't watch over her brother. She fears her mother will harm him.

It's clear that after that night when Robyn and Nicki secretly set out to find him, Robyn came back completely unbonded with the baby in her womb.

Everytime she tries to comfort her little brother, Robyn always interferes and calls her annoying or other things.

It confuses the hell out of Jazmine. She feels unwanted with Robyn. Not unloved, because she can kind of recall all of the times she had fun with her mother and smiled and laughed and her mama dressed her up and called her a princess and beautiful. Now all of that is gone, yanked from under her like a rug.

After that when she's at mama's and baba's house it isn't the relaxation or breath of fresh air that it once was anymore, it turns into her waiting, and wishing that she could telepathically watch over Robyn to watch over her brother.

Jazmine moves her dolls around, imagining the dialogue in her head and moving them around.

"Hey, my pooh bear."

At first Jazmine actually didn't hear her mother. She turns around with a blank/annoyed expression.

"Yes?"

"I said hey."

"Hey, mama." Jazmine turns back around.

Nicki crosses her arms and thinks. She wants to pinpoint what's going on with her daughter. She thinks something is up, but doesn't want to proceed further until she knows for sure what the cause for her daughter's drastic change is.

Usually Jazmine would be playing outside running around, laughing watching movies and tv at maximum volume. Her daughter is such a lovely little girl but all of that seems to be gone almost abruptly.

"Can mama sit with you?"

"Yes." Jazmine kinda doesn't want her to, but she doesn't want her mama to feel bad.

Jazmine plays silently once again and Nicki furrows her brow in confusion.

"What are they saying, pooh?"

Jazmine just shrugs.

"You okay, baby?"

Jazmine nods but the tears come out regardless.

Nicki scoops her daughter up and moves to comfort her.

"Oh, princess, what's wrong?"

Jazmine doesn't talk, just sobs and sobs.

Her little brother and mother on her mind. She feels like she's wasting her time in this house when she should be at her mom's checking in her brother and making sure he kicks every once in a while.

"Wanna sit with baba?"

Jazmine nods immediately. Nicki rocks hee a bit in her arms and heads to her bedroom where Bey is laying down, helping herself to some crackers and cheese.

Beyoncé is alarmed and put the food away when she sees her other daughter.

"Oh my baby, come here."

The only way Jazz calms down, is when she is semi-laying on Beyoncé's belly with her hand over her future baby sister.

Nicki and Beyoncé don't know what else to do.
