Chapter Twelve

Sorrow

(Week 3) Thursday, 6:20am. “Hey! Wake up,” Ryoba scoffs as she sees the girl as weak as an old woman. “I won’t torture you anymore, unless you didn’t kill that motherfucker Honami,” the yandere handed her the knife. “We’re going to school,” Aishi gave her school clothes which were clean while she is naked on the chair with ropes wrapping around her. 

Ryoba was at her back as she walked like a lifeless corpse, wondering where she would go. The psychopath gazed at the victim, fantasizing about how triumphant she is. A perfect masterplan to kill her two rivals. “Oi, you looked...cheerful…” Togo ran towards her as the two teens walked side by side. “So, you’re going to kill these two?” 

The girl gleefully smiled as the boy knew the answer by just a simple sign. “Did you get home safe yesterday?” She asked as Togo stopped from his tracks. 

“W-What?

“I’m just asking.”

The ex-delinquent grinned, felt his heart flutter with every second he’s with Ryoba. “You’re asking because you were concerning me, right?” Aishi felt her cheeks blushing as she got irritated by Togo’s tease. Ryoba felt something that made her smile warmly, like a blanket wrapping around her heart. 

“I-It’s not like that! If you disappeared, no one will help me get my Senpai,” she tried to be more annoyed by his cheesy words. “I’m not concerning you, I just want to make sure you’re still here with me,” she said, hoping he would stop the conversation. She was definitely wrong as their talk got even worse. 

“Oh...how romantic of you, Ryoba-chan,” Aishi took Atatsuma’s shirt, furious at his flirtatious side of him. Togo raised his hands, surender for her murdering eyes on him. He abruptly felt her gaze on him was attractive, hot even to stare at them for a minute. “Okay...you win. I won’t bother you, but don’t you think it’s quite fun to tease?” He chuckled as Ryoba sighed for this idiot. 

As they reached the school, they saw that the missing Komako shocked everyone with a knife in her hand. “What’s going on- Oh my Gosh! Is that…” The teacher was surprised and terrified that the skinny girl looks like she’s dying. “Everyone go inside!” The gym teacher alerted all the students as everyone quickly went into the school. 

“Komako-chan!” Except one. “You’re okay! I miss you!” Honami ran towards her as the skinny girl felt warm and comforted by her friend. “What happened to you?!” The nerdy girl looked at her face and saw it wasn’t her Komako anymore. “Komako are-” 

Blood pooling out from the green haired with the eyes of Honami became lifeless. “Ho...na...mi,” her smiling face became concerned and now frowned from the knife stabbed on her stomach. “H-Honami…” Komako whispered as she saw her best friend dying in her arms. The killer sobs, burying her chest to hide her shameful face from the world. 

Ryoba laughed happily as no one was around them. Before she approached Komako, the police came with guns in hand, ready for combat. “This is the police! You’re under arrest for murder and suspicious acts reported from the school,” the victim turned to the group of authorities, smiling and laughing from all the abnormal events she encountered. “Drop your weapon!”

She giggled but got aggressive and ran towards Ryoba, charging her with a knife. They collapsed with Komako on Ryoba as Aishi tried her best not to get stabbed by her rival “YOU KILLED HONAMI! YOU RUINED MY LIFE AND YOU JUST KIDNAPPED ME! FRAMING ME FOR KILLING MY BEST FRIEND! How-How could you?! She was the only one that I ever loved. The only one I could trust...my only friend in my life!”

She cried as Ryoba saw how painful, how suffering without Honami at her side. “Komako-chan,” Ryoba whispered as the crying girl looked at her. “I don’t care about your happiness. I only cared about mine and mine alone,” Komako shook her head, unable to accept the fact that her life became like this. No one loved her and now people would hate her for killing a student.
