CHAPTER 2

Morning, 10:10 am.

Like every other time, I got late for college on my very first day. I was Driving my Scotty faster than usual, breaking a single where I don't see any traffic police. I entered the college campus. Watchman at the entrance doesn't stop to check on my ID as he is very well familiar with our group by now. I parked my scooty at my usual spot and removed my helmet. I see my gang come from behind and hug me.

"Wow. You guys are still here?" I asked.
"Obviously, it's our first day of final year. Gang entry is must." Trisha said.
"Come on. We already 10 minutes late. We must be get going." Saddhu said.
"Sorry guys to disappoint you all but you all have to go without me. I will join you in 2nd lecture." I said.
"What the fuck is this now? We waited for you. Now you are dumping us." Anii said in anger.
"I said I'm sorry. I have an important work in the library." I said and leave them behind and rush towards canteen. As I am walking away from them, I heard Mishti saying;

"It's a very first day and she already acting all weird and suspicious." I just rolled my eyes and ignore them. I have serious thing to handle right now.

"What the fuck you want?" I slam my hand on the canteen table to get attention of Atharva, "Why the fuck you being such a lawyer to that asshole."

"Because he is my friend." He defends making me to roll my eyes in disbelieve.

I am so done with this two. The person in talk is no other than my ex. It's been quit few months that we broke up for real and ever since than either my Ex or his best buddy Atharva came to lawyer him up now and then. I want to end this once and for all. My ex texting me on all the various social platform to apologies to me for his cheating. I did hear his explanation but I don't want to get back with him. Things between us was started to fade away even before he cheated on me. But he is not accepting it so I have to block him from every social media account I owned. As far as I know him better, I knew it for sure he going to send Atharva to talk to me and I can't say no to Atharva because he is my bestfriend's boyfriend.

"Just hear me out for once Viyona."

"Atharva I really like you as a person but stop defending his cheating, please."

"I'm not defending his act. I accept that he made a mistake, really big one actually. But he also deserves a second chance. He loves you, Viyona."

"Why you so hell bend to get us together?"

"Because-"

"Because?"

"Because he is the only real friend I have and I can't see him all heartbroken. You also know he is a nice person. So, please don't let his one mistake change that for you." He drops his shoulder and also sigh.
