Octavius runs his hands through his long hair with a heavy sigh. "It's not looking good." He said. I stand up from my desk.
"They're making more allies, Ezra." He pushes. "Fernando is sending men out here. Nico hasn't been able to track them." Octavius continues.
I pinch the bridge of my nose. "Don't let your big ass ego get in the way of doing what's right." His right.
Fernando is getting more allies.
I know my men are strong, but that won't help if we're outnumbered.
And protecting her is all I care about.

"My Boy, dove mia nuora." She asked her eyes darling around. "Mama," I groaned as she pushed past me. "Hush it, boy." She pointed at me.
Translate (where my daughter-in-law is)
"Where is she?" She walked around looking for her. I follow her down the hall.
Lord, help me.
As we turned the corner, I collided with a small body. I wrapped my arms around her to keep her from falling. "I'm sorry." She smiled innocently, causing me to hold my breath.
I went weak for a moment when I saw her let out a little laugh. The light in her eyes was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
God, what is wrong with me?
"We were just coming to find you." My mama said it in excitement. "We have to take you dress shopping." Nevaeh's head snaps in my mother's direction, including mine.
"What?" Nevaeh and I say it in sync. "Oh, hush, Ezra, you couldn't have forgotten about the ball." Mama said, rolling her eyes.
I hear Nevaeh let out a heavy sigh. I pinch the bridge of my nose.
How the hell did that slip my mind? I mentally groan. "The girls will all be joining us." My mama grabs Nevaeh's hand and polling her down the hallway.
Nevaeh looked over her shoulder, giving me the 'help me' look which caused me to let out a chuckle.

"Why do I have to do this?" Max whines. "At least I'll look better than the grinch over there." He pointed to Leo.
Leo glared at Max as he walked over to him, smacking the back of his head. Nico smirked as Max turned and swung his fist into Leo's dick.
I cringe, I could almost feel it myself.
"Mother fucker!" Leo cried out, doubling over in pain.
We walk into Future Tux's. It's owned by a grumpy old man who has been working for my family for years.
"Hello Gabriel." I say it with a cheeky grin. His lips turn into a tight line. "What do you need now, boy?" He hissed out the last part.
Doesn't he love me?
