I can't believe he fucking named them Things One and Two. Who does that?
Him. That's for sure.
"Auntie?" Max, he says as he pushes open my bedroom door. "Yes?" I asked the monster. "Sometimes I wish you were my mommy," Max said as he climbed up onto my bed.
Sometimes I wish he was my kid too.
"What's wrong." I pull him onto my lap. "Mommy's just mean for no reason, and it hurts right here." He points at his heart.
"What would make you feel better?" He tapped his chin as if it helped him think better. "Can we go get ice cream?"
"Ok, let me get ready. Make sure you get a jacket; it's cold today." Max giggles happily before racing out of my room.
Going into the closet and picking out an outfit before heading into the bathroom.
I get out after taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth. I get dressed in the outfit I picked out.
I wear a white long-sleeve off-the-shoulder crop top with plain black leggings, pairing it with white Air Force. I grabbed my neck with Ezra's ring and put it on.
I picked up one of Ezra's hoodies and put it on before making my way downstairs to the main hall.
Max was patiently waiting for me. He had the stuffed bear that Ezra had gotten him a while back. "Ready kiddo?" I asked, taking his hand in mine.

I picked Max up and put him on my hip so he could see what ice cream flavors there were.
"What ice cream did you want?" I asked him"Hmm. Can I have strawberry ice cream?" I nodded.
"Okay, I would like a Strawberry and..." Max paused, looking over at me. "What do you want? Hurry, you're making me look dumb here."
"Cookie and cream." I whispered to Max. Max sighed. "Sorry, ma'am, my aunties here are a little slow." Max says he's patting my head.
This little bitch

When we got done eating our ice cream. I told Max I would be right back; I just had to go to the restroom. Washing my hands before I leave.
My heat sinks when Max isn't where I left him. "Hey!" I hear Max yell, turning my head just in time to see Max getting pulled up to the ice cream shop.
