He's My Ruthless Billionaire

Chap. 3

Stella Parlor

At such a moment, I'd normally say I was stressed but I knew that in the back of my head I was overly excited.

Errin called me recently stating that we'd be taking a trip to unwind because we needed a vacation and God knew I was really dreading for the relaxation.

I had been gathering all of Mr. Blake's scheduled meetings and the events that he had to attend. Some of those events would fall on days that we'd be out of the country, so I had to call and inform them of his absence. I had currently called Ms. Graham to tell her about Errin's absence for her annual charitable fundraiser for orphanage kids.

"Hello." A pleasant voice answered.

"Hello, Good afternoon Ms. Graham." I paused for a moment, "I'd like to inform you that Errin Blake won't be able to attend your annual charity function because he'll be out of the country attending to business." I informed her, even though the last part was a lie, that was what he told me to say to them.

"That's so unfortunate but thanks for informing me." She replied politely.

"He apologizes for the sudden dismissal but he'll make sure to give a contribution. Have a good day Ms. Graham." I said and ended the call.

Well that was the last of the set of calls in regards to events that I had to inform of his absence that were pending.

I managed to strategize a schedule for the moving up of his business meetings. In order for this to work, everyday he had to be here by seven thirty and leave eight.

I knocked and walked into his office handing him the spreadsheet of calendared events and meetings. "Errin, so let the impossible begin. I've managed to get LeRoi McLaughlin to have a meeting with you today at four as your schedule states for the Europe investment deal. Paula Journey said that she can only manage a twenty minutes confrontation because she's leaving the country for the rest of the month today. She's currently on her way."

"You do realize that the meetings are aligned perfectly on the spreadsheet right?" He asked.

"And if you were listening, I constantly made reference to the schedule." I stated as a matter of fact, "Open your ears Mr. Blake."

As he was about to reply, the phone started ringing, he held his hand up silencing me, "Errin Blake?"

He listened attentively, "Ms. Journey relax, I'll let them send you up."

"Jane please send up her for me, it's quite shocking how these people behave." He ended the call.

I rose an eyebrow, "She was giving a tantrum at the front desk because the guards stopped her."

I laughed, "That's Paula for you, she gets worked up for the least things." I rolled my eyes, "You should be happy you only have to deal with her in your meetings and she doesn't give you a hard time because she's quite smitten."

He looked at me in uttermost shock, "Aren't you a very keen observer?"

"Working with you, Errin I have to be." I told him, "Sometimes it's funny how they throw themselves at you and you don't even realize."

"Well that's why you're here, right?" He asked sarcastically giving me his slight smirk.

"Mr. Blake!!" I heard her shout, the noisy boisterous Paula, "I don't have time to waste, let's get on with this. Twenty minutes is on the clock."
