He's My Ruthless Billionaire
Chap. 9
Stella Parlor
I could feel the fluids being pulled into my bloodstream as I tried to open my eyes but failed terribly. I remained still because it took too much energy and I was as weak as it could get. I thought to myself how long had it been since I was last awake because my body ached all over.
"Mr. Jonas she's been sleeping for a week now, why isn't she waking up?" I heard a voice say that I recognized to be Errin's, he must be talking to my doctor.
"I told you already Mr. Blake." A voice answered to which I assumed to be the doctor or Mr. Jonas whoever. "Her body lost a lot of blood so she's taking awhile to recuperate, once her heart rate, vitals and body temperature remain constant, she's fine to which she is now."
I could hear the constant footstep of someone in a pacing stance, "I'm just losing my patience. I need her to wake up, I can't continue to watch her like this, it's maddening. I trust that you must know how I'm feeling Doc. I love her so much."
Oh my, if only I could cry. Errin loves me, he really loves me, thank heavens this wasn't one sided.
Errin loves me.
I heard the doctor chuckled, "Oh yes for aboout 18 years now. I know what you're going through just hang in there she'll be fine." I heard the opening of the door as it closed with a small thud.
I felt him beside of me, I tried to smile but it was too difficult, it was like I was straining my cheek bones. All of my muscle tendons seemed tense and out of place. I couldn't believe I had been asleep for a week and it felt like only a smear of a day.
"Ella," he softly muttered as he pushed a lock of hair out of my face, "I miss you so much, why can't you wake up?" He asked wanting an answer to which he knew he wouldn't get. "I miss seeing those beautiful gray orbs."
I tried to twitch my fingers but gave up. Ugh! I hate being sick like this because it paralyzes you from doing what you wanted to do. I tried to reopen my eyes again and became successful when I squinted under the lighting.
"Uhh," I groaned before closing them back, guess my body was coming alive. "Stella?" Errin said as he stood and that's when my eyes fluttered wide and I saw the nurse walking in with Errin trailing behind and I closed back my eyes because it was hard getting adjusted to the light.
"Nurse, I saw her open her eyes. I think she's awake." He spoke surprisingly as he sat back on the bed clutching my right hand, "Finally." He muttered to himself as he kissed the back of my hand.
He radiated so many love, I felt so blessed. When I develop the strength I will demand an explanation for what was wrong with me or what even happened.
I tried once more and they opened resistant to the lighting this time around. The nurse took my hand checking my pulse rate I presumed before checking if my pupils were dilated, I squinted rapidly to gain back my vision from its current blurriness.
"Err-rin." I softly muttered as I looked at him. He seemed dismantled, his clothes raggedy, hair unkept and a slight forest of beard was developing.
"Oh my angel, you're finally awake." He caressed my cheek and stretched over giving me a slight peck on the lips and when he pulled back I couldn't help but to smile with a small nod.
The nurse started feeling my side and suddenly the pain I felt could have killed me in one go, "Ow! Stop please." I softly begged as my voice was still recovering.
