       Time was really the master of all things. Damn! I wanted her so badly but when the accident happened, I went into father mode; probably too protective of her.

I was there waiting on her to reply to my text message for hours. I never thought that she would have been in an accident almost losing her life. I was frantic! I just wanted to find the asshole who did this so I could make them rot!

When I went inside of her private room that early morning, I was so terrified. Ella looked deranged. She was bruised all over, she looked like she had taken a beaten. The tubes connected to her veins, I just hate seeing sick people; especially my love ones but yet still she maintained a smile when she saw me.

Somehow I blamed Auramona for all of what happened especially to Ella but I couldn't tell Ella that because she was too selfless. She blind herself from anything that she knew that would affect her.

If she had stayed home, she wouldn't had been in this outcome. I knew that she wasn't up for it because before I left, she was ready to go have a nap and relax her mind. Thoughts about movies were far off but Stella being herself could never be nothing else but polite and want to fulfill everybody's wishes.

If only things were a little different but somehow I liked what happened, only a little because it changed her, and for the better. Ella opened up, it was like she just wanted to live in the moment with no regrets, she was no longer the closed off girl I used to wonder about. In the hospital when she kissed me infront of everyone, I heard the gasps and the whispers and I knew it was her parents, it was one of the best moments in my life.

"Woah!" Her mother, Angelyn exclaimed. I grinned on her lips and kissed her deeper before pulling away. "I knew it! I knew it!" She clapped and gushed about us.

"Mother." Stella warned.

She fanned her away, "Oh please." She rolled her eyes at Ella and I had to fight the urge to not laugh at her.

Markus stepped forward, her father of course. "What's all of this?"

I looked at Stella who was blushing and shying away so much that I had to take charge. "Well it's just my way to ask your daughter hand in marriage."

Immediately the whole room fell silent. The exact reaction I was expecting, "Damn! Calm down, I'm just joking..." I told them, "Well at least for now."

"Son, hold on." Markus once again intervene seeming to be out of order at that moment. "How long has this been going on?"

I laughed, "For about two years now, well on my behalf." I said loud enough so everyone could hear. I looked beside of me and saw Ella looking at me in disbelief like everyone else. "You heard right baby girl, I've loved you for two years now. I fell for you a long time ago." I massage her chin before sweetly kissing her lips for a second time.

"My baby finally found herself a man to love her." Angelyn gushed, "Our baby girl Markus, she's finally gonna make us some grandchildren."

And that's when everyone in the room started laughing, they were worried about grand babies especially with the fact that Stella was their only child. Rest assured Angie and Mark, you'll definitely be having some grand babies. I'll make sure of that.

I was happy, happier if I might add from that day because she accepted me and everyone loved the idea. I could have sworn I even saw Cassie smiled at us when I confessed. Sometimes things really do happen for a reason, it's just how you handle it.
