This is not a love story but a story about love, friendship and second chances.
Sunoo fell in love with probably the most handsome person he has seen in his whole life. Their story was going well until Sunghoon left him without saying goodbye.
"Sorry, we thought you're our friend." Sunoo said cutting Jungwon off who was starting to blush.
The blond guy didn't respond and tumalikod na sa kanila.
The two continued whispering with each other.
"Yan, ano? Pahiya ka." Sunoo teased Jungwon.
"Tse!" Jungwon quipped, "Bakit kasi pareho sila ng buhok."
"Nakakahiya ka. Wag kang tumabi sakin."
"Leche. Nag-eexpect ka din."
"Ako pa talaga?"
"Pero cute din si Kuya, in fairness." Jungwon smiled.
"I guess..." Sunoo agreed, in between giggles.
"Wow, taas standards. Pretty ka?"
"Taken na ko."
"Wow haa. 30 seconds mo pa lang nakikita, ni di mo pa nga kilala, kayo na agad? Taken ka na agad?"
"Mana lang sayo." Sunoo smirked.
After the orientation, Jungwon and Sunoo parted ways. Jungwon to his first class and Sunoo to the library. Sunoo was assigned as the SA in the library and he couldn't choose a more perfect task. He loves books and he loves the quiet which is a stark contrast to his personality.
A 4th year SA gathered all the new SAs in the lounge room for their schedule and buddy system. Sunoo, being the first one to arrive sat in the first row, was eagerly listening to the 4th year SA.
"Hi everyone. Welcome." the 4th year SA with an easy smile welcomed the newbies, "Looks like everyone is all here. This won't take long. You will be working in pairs and will be scheduled with the senior SAs per station."
The 4th year SA then called out the names and provided their assignments.
"Sunoo Kim and Nishimura Riki?"
"Here!" Sunoo answered while raising his hand.
"I'm here! 'Ni-ki' will do." answered back a familiar voice from the row at the back.
Sunoo looked behind him to where the voice was from and saw the blond guy he and Jungwon saw earlier at the auditorium. Nakatingin din ito sa kanya without showing any hint of recognition on his face towards Sunoo. Yet, for some odd reason, kumakabog ang dibdib ni Sunoo.
"Alright," the 4th year SA said, "Sunoo and Ni-ki, both of you will work at the check out counter. Schedule is from 5pm to 7pm daily and 1pm to 5pm on Saturdays.
"Noted po." Sunoo and Ni-ki confirmed, simultaneously.
After the SA assignment, Sunoo hurriedly got out of the library and texted Jungwon.
