Sweet Night

Graduation day.

The excitement in the gymnasium was almost tangible. Students, their friends and family all had smiles on their faces.

Ni-ki graduated with the highest Latin honors. Sunoo and Jungwon both made it as Cum Laude. While Sunghoon, Jay and Jake all completed their five year Engineering journey with flying colors.

Sunoo saw Sunghoon from afar taking several pictures with his parents, proud at their son. He also saw Ni-ki, putting his medals over his Mom's. At the far side, Jungwon was busy hugging their classmates and then he saw Jake waving him over.

"Congrats Jakey!"

"Sayo din! Gosh... teacher na!"

"Di pa, may board exam pa." Sunoo laughed.

"Oo nga noh, kami din pala."

Jay joined them and put his arms over their shoulders, "Uy, friends! Congrats to us!!"

"Nakaka-proud naman kayo." Sunoo said.

"Uy luv!" Jay brightly called out Jungwon who was on his way over to them.

"Yey!!" Jungwon shouted.

"Ni-ki!!!" Sunoo also shouted at Ni-ki and waved at him. Ni-ki came over and Sunoo said, "Naks! Iba din talaga! Galing-galing!"

"Congrats Ni-ki boy!" Jungwon hugged Ni-ki.

"Ooooops." Jay complained at the two, jokingly.

"Hehehe.." Jungwon giggled.

"Asan na ba-" Jay looked around but before he could finish his question, Sunghoon popped out of nowhere and hugged Sunoo from behind.

"Uy!!" Sunoo exclaimed.

"Galing naman ng baby ko." Sunghoon said smiling.

"Iiiiihhhhhhh..." Sunoo replied.

"Jusko, ang langgam!" Jungwon complained.

""Ay, nainggit ang palaluv ko. Lika nga dito..." Jay said.

"Enebe..."

"Uy group photo naman tayo!" Jake asked.

"Yes, please!!" Ni-ki agreed, grinning."

Months ago.

Sunghoon and Jay just got back from Cebu for a short trip together with their whole class and they both decided to have a dinner with Jungwon and Sunoo.

After dinner, the four of them had a leisurely walk around BGC with Jungwon and Jay leading the way while Sunghoon and Sunoo were following behind.

"Ang tahimik mo ata." Sunghoon asked Sunoo.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay? Something's wrong?"

"N-no, wala..."

"Baka may nagawa na naman akong ikinagalit mo..."

"Luh, wala nga..." Sunoo answered rather loudly which Jungwon heard.

"Actually..." Jungwon butted in, laughing.

"Yes, Jungwon?" Sunoo warned.

"Meron nga?" Sunghoon asked, confused.

"No, promise wala. Wag kang magpapaniwala dyan." Sunoo glared at his best friend.

"May mga kumakalat na baliiita, na ang misisni kwaaaaaaan ay madaling makuha! Bago maniwala, mag-isip-isip ka muna... marami ang namamataaaaaay... sa maling...." Jungwon sang out loud.
