This is not a love story but a story about love, friendship and second chances.
Sunoo fell in love with probably the most handsome person he has seen in his whole life. Their story was going well until Sunghoon left him without saying goodbye.
The semester break went by fast. Students, refreshed and energized, excitedly filled the hallways and classrooms. Sunoo envied them. He tried to act as if everything was okay but his eyes tell otherwise.
He went on to his usual schedule trying to ignore and avoid all the things that reminded him of Sunghoon. From the bleachers where they usually hang out to their usual table in the cafeteria to the Greek mythology book that Sunghoon loved.
Jungwon took it upon himself to unfriend and unfollow Sunghoon from all of Sunoo's social media. It wasn't something Sunoo wanted because he still wanted to see if he and Sunghoon can maintain what they had online but Jungwon insisted that it's not worth it.
Sunoo still couldn't believe what happened between him and Sunghoon. Then he became angry at Sunghoon. For him not doing his best to stay. For him not giving them a chance. For him leaving. For him not even saying goodbye.
Then Sunoo thought that he would've been fine with a long distance relationship. He thought that it could work like how it did to others.
And then came the almost nightly call with Jungwon where he just kept on talking about what might've been. Sometimes crying, then laughing at how stupid he was, then crying again for being a fool.
"I know masakit and I'm glad that you're already in this stage." Jungwoon said on the other end of the call.
"Huh?"
"After this, acceptance na. And I'm proud of you for staying strong."
"Ano...??"
"Five stages of grief: Denial, anger, bargaining, despair and acceptance. Next week or so, hopefully you'll be fine and balik na sa dating ikaw."
"Dami mong alam..."
"Inom ka tubig."
"Hay! Bakit ba kasi... nakakainis! Katulad talaga sya ng Tatay ko na walang pakialam sakin eh. Hay, bahala sila sa buhay nila." Sunoo complained.
"Hehe... charge to experience na lang."
"Hay naku... oh sya, goodbye na."
"Goodnight bes..."
"Thank you Wonie.... hay... salamat andyan ka."
"Ahsus, ako pa ba?"

Though everything wasn't the same as it was before, Sunoo tried to make new habits that will clear his mind from the memory of Sunghoon. Slowly he started to become his old self and his bright smile was seen again.
Seasons changed fast and it's almost the end of the school year.
Summer can be felt in the air and the students' excitement was building up. Summer classes will start and 1st year SAs are usually on duty as it's the time for the senior SAs to catch up on their minor subjects.
Sunoo was busy labelling new books when someone entered the almost empty library. He looked up and a bright smile appeared on his face.
"Mabuti naman nag-pakita ka na! Kilala mo pa ba ko?" Sunoo exclaimed.
"Hahah! Sun-something??" Ni-ki joked.
"Tse! Tumangkad ka lalo ahh! Anyare?? Hiyang ka ba sa retreat house??"
"Ayos lang." Ni-ki grinned, "Ikaw kumusta? Malusog pa rin pisngi mo ahh."
"Ihh ganyan na talaga yan. Nothing's changed."
"Hmmm... cute naman eh." Ni-ki smiled, "So, ikaw lang mag-isa naka-duty?"
"For now yes, yes. Pero may dadating naman daw na kasama ko sabi ni Hee."
"Ahhh... okay."
"Ikaw? What brought you here? Wala kang duty sa retreat house?"
"Ahhh, closed kapag summer break and retreat house."
"Ahhhh... So san ka na?"
"Dito... ayaw mo ba?" Ni-ki raised his eyebrow, holding back his smile.
"Baliw! Di nga?!"
"Ayaw mo ata eh."
"Baliw to! Seryoso nga! Dito ka nga?!"
"Oo nga... hahah!"
"OMG! YEy!! Seryoso yan haaa! Walang bawian." Sunoo clapped excitedly.
"For summer lang naman." Ni-ki smiled.
"Okay na yun, at least mag-kasama ulit tayo."
"Na-miss mo ko noh?"
"Oo naman." Sunoo grinned.
"Na-miss din kita." Ni-ki winked.

"Na-miss pero walang paramdam at all! Tse! Tigilan mo ko!!" Sunoo rolled his eyes.
"Syempre, binasted mo ko eh!" Ni-ki joked.
"Hoy! Baliw! Hahaha!!" Sunoo laughed, "Loko to! Friends pa rin naman tayo... ayaw mo ba kong maging friend??"
"Gusto syempre... pero respeto na lang din kay Sunghoon."
"Ahhh... Ummmm... okay..."
"Ay sorry..."
"For what?" Sunoo asked innocently, "That was months ago. A lifetime ago. Ages ago. History. Ancient."
"Sure ka haa..."
"Oo baliw! I'm in a better place now. Gosh, di ko na nga naiisip yung mokong na yun lately. Hmmmmm.... I heard okay naman daw sya."
"Oh updated ahh..."
"Hindi..." Sunoo laughed, "Si Jay and Jake kasi minsan napapag-kwentuhan sya. Naririnig ko lang kapag mag-kakasama kami."
"Ahhh okay. Oh wait... I have something for you."
"Huh?"
"Tsaran!!"
"Hahaha! Niki's Special Ensaymada! I missed this!!"
