Gone

Sunghoon drove off after saying goodbye to his friends. On his way back, he kept replaying what happened before he left.

He told Heeseung, Jay and Jake about how his parents told him about their plans and how he reacted. He shared how he was confused and when the realization came that he'll be leaving his friends, school and Sunoo behind, he was devastated.

He was not given a choice either since everything has been settled already. They won't be staying in New York for good but they will be there for a while. Jake already knew what was happening since his parents are friends with Sunghoon's but he kept mum about it as per Sunghoon's wishes while he was still trying to convince his parents if he could stay behind instead.

Jay, being the soft toughie among them, couldn't help but feel sad about Sunghoon leaving. Sunghoon then asked where Sunoo was and they told him. He smiled bitterly and went inside the room where Sunoo was.

As he entered the room, Sunoo was still asleep. He approached him and kneeled beside Sunoo's bed. Dawn was just starting to break and it illuminated Sunoo's face.
The cute face of the person he fell in love with.
The face that brightens everyone's day especially his.
The face he'll surely miss seeing everyday.

He tried to calm himself and thought of waking Sunoo up but he couldn't do it. He couldn't bear to say goodbye to someone who brought him so much happiness the past months. Someone who made him feel secured, special, and comfortable. Someone who he knew whose heart would break because of him.

He wanted to touch Sunoo's cheeks but he's afraid it would wake him up. He wouldn't be able to look into Sunoo's eyes knowing that he would hurt him.

Without saying anything, he lightly kissed Sunoo's forehead. Trying to hold back his tears with a lump in his throat, he stood up, looked at Sunoo one more time, turned around and left.
