IT’S been 6mos since Mike and Clara last heard about Camila and even until now they didn’t know where she is.

Mike groaned when traffic caught them and he’s late for his lunch meeting when he noticed Dinah looking intently at someone, “what’s the matter Dinah?”

“I think I saw Inspector Cabello but I’m not sure...”

“Really? Where is she?” and he followed her gaze.

“Red motorcycle, white helmet, red with black details big bag on the back, a food delivery I think, I don’t know Sir if that’s her.”

Mike followed what Dinah said until he saw it, “follow her.”

“But what about your lunch meeting, Sir?”

“This is more important.”

“Copy, Sir,” and she followed her when the traffic light turned green.

Mike took his phone and dialled his secretary’s number, “hello, Selena,” he greeted when it answered, “please ask Mr Sanchez if he’s already in our meeting place, please tell him I can’t go, emergency,” “thank you, Selena.”

They followed her until it stopped on a certain shop so Dinah stopped the car metres away from where Cabello parked.

Her eyes widened because it’s really Inspector Cabello when it removed the helmet.

“Sir, it’s her, it’s really her, though her hair is longer, but it was really her,” and she looked back, “she’s here in Miami,” and she looked again to Camila heading inside the shop, bag in her hand.

“Spending months in jail, well it’ll get longer, she changed her looks and she looks like her father.”

“What do we do now, Sir?”

“We’ll wait, I’ll talk to her.”

They waited then after a few seconds they saw her walking towards its motorbike, bag in hand so Mike stepped out of the car and immediately called her.

“Mila?”

The brunette froze in her spot and looked back and saw a suited man approaching her and he seemed familiar to her so she strapped the food bag securely in the back and waited for him.

“How did you know my name?” and she saw him looking at her left breast and she frowned.

“You’re using your mother’s name now, Mila?”

She saw her name printed Estrabao in her left breast so she wondered, “you—know me…?”

“I expected that you will not recognize me and yes, Mila, I know you, my wife and I know you, I’m Mike, Mike Jauregui and my wife’s name Clara, Clara Jauregui.”

“Mike Jauregui, are you Atty. Iglesias’ boss?”

“Yes, I am,” and Mike couldn’t stop himself so he pulled Camila close and embrace her, “it’s been so long, Mila, I know you didn’t remember me or even my wife,” and he pulled away, “you look like your father, mija.”

And Camila looked down when she remember her parents.

“I’m sorry for what happened to your parents, the next time we knew you were not in Dublin anymore we really wanted to see you, do you have a minute so we can talk?”

Camila looked back to her food bag, “I still have work, I delivered food now, if you can wait…”

“Of course, Mila, I will wait,” and he took his calling card and handed it to Camila, “here, text me if you’re free then I meet you right away.”
